Steeldancer he/him Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 I have long theorized (since I read the annotations to the Hero of Ages) that the girl that Captain Demoux meets is the terriswoman worldhopper we've heard about. Thanks to @Pagerunner I think we have practically confirmation of this fact: Quote Q: In The Hero of Ages, Demoux gets together with a woman named Aslydin. He's then seen on Roshar in The Way of Kings. Knowing how loyal Demoux is, he wouldn't just leave Aslydin behind like that. Is she connected to his reasons for becoming a member of the Seventeenth Shard? A: Aslydin is in the Seventeeth Shard, and had her own work to be about. I've given subtle clues about her before, but the ethnicity of the name should strike you. She is a terriswoman, as discussed in the annotations. Anything I'm missing here?

But, yeah, it's a pretty common assumption that the two are one and the same. We recently confirmed that the terriswoman worldhopper is the nurse in Warbreaker; I don't know if there's a description of either Aslydin or the nurse that you could compare to try and get something even more concrete. 1

And for all people talk about the nurse, I've never actually been able to find the nurse in warbreaker. Don't exactly know what I'm missing
