Housedunn
I have a question. Could you use stormlight to store in a Nicrosilmind since it is pure Investiture?
0 Spoolofwhool
Assuming nicrosil can store all forms of investiture, sure. I don't think it does and I think stormlight is outside its limitations. Spoiler Khriss, you terrible, ambiguous scholar. 0 Jondesu he/him
Others said this before, so I'm not taking responsibility for the wording here, but I think that Nicrosil, rather than storing "Investiture" in the way we use the term, stores parts of your spiritweb, which is indeed Investiture, but more specifically, it stores the parts of your spiritweb that allow you to use particular magic systems. In other words, it stores your ability to access a particular flavor of Investiture. Other distinctions some people think of is that it stores Innate Investiture instead of Kinetic Investiture, which is a similar distinction, but might allow for Breaths to be stored, since they're sort of a grey area between the two.
