Hey, nice to meet you all of you!  I'm Yas (not to be confused with the internet slang yaaas for 'yes'. I'm just a college student who got pulled into the cosmere fandom in January. I've read The Way of Kings and started Words of Radiance. I plan to read Elantris next!

I don't exactly know what else to say. Um.. Interesting facts about me? I'm an artist (I plan to upload Stormlight Archive fanart sometime in the following week), I can speak Japanese at a four year old's level, I'm a major booknerd.. Trying to write my own story...? That's all I've got folks.

Anyway, although I'm new to this whole forum/cosmere/everything Brandon Sanderson related, I hope to get along with you all! Thanks for reading

Welcome to the Shard! I always love seeing new fanart pop up in the gallery. At this point, I've given up on preventing the spread of cookies through the Shard, but if you want to, don't eat the cookies.

I've heard about not eating the cookies on a different Introductory post so I'll be wary when I'm offered one haha (in which I have already been offered two cookies on this post oh no}

• High source of vitamins and minerals
• Known to summon cute pets
• When dunked in milk, give you visions of heaven

i have no idea which one of you to believe but I'll skip on the cookies due to my dislike of sweets instead of taking a side on this strange cookie debate

What they aren't telling you is that some people, *glares at @Darkness Ascendant*, give cookies with metal spikes in them to newcomers. It is a Mistborn reference.

The cookies may or may not give you powers. I'm still not quite sure.

Ah I see. I haven't read Mistborn yet so the reference flew over my head. I'll still steer clear of them at the off-chance that I don't get powers and actually die instead ahaha.
