Maresia he/him
From Eshonai interlude: She passed into the shadow of a big lump of rock that she always imagined might have been a city gate. From what little they’d learned from their spies over the years, she knew that the Alethi did not understand. They marched over the uneven surface of the plateaus and saw only natural rock, never knowing that they traversed the bones of a city long dead. What if... I've been thinking about this a long time, and remind me a lot of shinovar. It could be that the alethi ignorance about stone is the same when looking at shinovar?Maybe thats why all the information we have about shinovar its superficial. Maybe the stones in shinovar ,which are sacred, are part of a temple/lost city/ part of a broken urithuru. That also could explain why they are so religious about the stone (stone shamanism), and maybe could also explain WHY THEY HAVE HONORBLADES. (or just 1). What do you think? I also have the tendency of forgeting critical plot information when thinking about theories. Maybe im wrong.
Heir of the Void he/him
The only thing you're missing is that I believe that it was stated that Urithuru is in the "East, in the place nearest to Honor'. It could be, however, that the gate to... there is in the East, possibly on the Shattered Plains, and it transports people to and from Shinovar. It would make sense for the Shattered Plains to be Urithuru, but that seems to be too obvious.
Everstorm
The quote actually says Urithiru was placed westward, in the place nearest to Honor. The origin of storms (which is assumed to be related to Honor) is to the east. But if in fact Roshar is the only supercontinent on the planet, then the Western most point on the continent would be pretty close to the Origin of Storms, and hence closest to Honor. One more reason I think Urithiru is somewhere near Shinovar, is because this would be a very simple explanation for why it hasn't been rediscovered yet. People have been all over the world, but the Shin consider walking on stone to be a blasphemy, so they wouldn't have explored the highest peaks. Yet another reason I think Shinovar is a good choice, is that the location of Urithiru was a decision that was made after some debate. It was decided that it should not be in Alethela, presumably because that's where all the warrior kings/lords were who could hope to exert their influence over the Radiants. What better place, then, to keep the capital of the Radiants, than near a kingdom which considers warriors to be the lowest calling, and would leave them alone for all practical purposes. Dammit OP, I have an exam tomorrow and was going to post this after that but you beat me to it
hoser he/him
The whole supercontinent could be less than halfway around the planet, leaving the west most distant from Origin. If we accept Satsuoni's storm model, that must be the case, as he has essentially a single wave of storm engulfing the planet. from east to west Is there evidence that Honor is at the Origin? Everstorm
Well, I guess he isn't really anywhere right now. But I imagine if he was once called the Stormfather, that is probably because he had something to do with the Highstorms. By the way, do we know the size of Roshar compared to any landmass on Earth?
