People can stick to my categories or create their own (other forms of entertainment are welcome). Stick only to what has come out in 2016. Best opening to a series: The Forgetting Moon by Durfee (This book blew me away by how awesome it is) Best Sanderson Novel: Bands of Mourning Best Audiobook: Morning Star by Pierce Brown (Tim Reynolds really did a great job with this series) Best Book by a first time author: The Facefakers Game by Birch.
