Pre-Shattering Questions

I have two questions that I want to ask at an upcoming signing, but want to make sure that they haven't  been answered already first. I have a feeling that they'll be RAFO'd, but... Anyway.

Had anyone else ever held Adonalsium's power before Adonalsium? (I mean before whatever/whoever had it when Adonalsium was shattered, if Adonalsium isn't the person/thing's name)

Were there any worldhoppers pre-shattering, or is this something that developed after the Shards were taken up by the 16? As a follow-up, if there were none prior, is it because worldhopping is facilitated by the separation of powers, such as perpendicularites that wouldn't be present if Adonalsium were still whole?

If anybody knows the answer so I don't waste a question, I'd appreciate it!

We can be reasonably sure of the second one, i'm pretty sure. Adonalsium had heavily invested multiple worlds, and large amounts of investiture are (as far as we know) the only requirement for a perpendicularity to exist. For example,

as told in Arcanum Unbounded, the Drominad system (where sixth of dusk takes palce) has sporadically occurring Perpendicularity on some planets despite them not having a full shard present. This kind of shoots down the idea that perpendicularities are a direct development of a shard and not just investiture.
