Radiant Returned he/him Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Just placed my order for Arcanum Unbounded, but what I really can't wait for is The Final Empire leatherbound version. I know Elantris came out last year around this time, and it takes around 6 weeks for them to ship, and I reaaaaaaly want it by Christmas. Any news/guesses when ordering will begin?

In answer to your question he probably will start thinking about organizing it next month after he has completed the 1st draft of SA 3. I know that's a big priority right now for him.

I think they've got a new gallery, but no additional editing - Elantris, as Brandon's first published book, missed out on some of the TLC that his later books got in that regard. It might not take the full six weeks this time around for the first batch; they might already have the books, and are just waiting to announce them. It is their goal to have them out by Christmas. 1

We're supposed to get the books delivered here in a couple weeks so Brandon can sign a lot of them before it's time to send them out. There was editing done on almost every page, but most of it people won't notice—just small word-level stuff. Isaac also redid one map and made one new map. The paper quality is better than Elantris's, and the text is much less cramped than the original hardcover's. 3

Ammanas Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 I have a question to those that bought the leatherbound Elantris and plan on buying Mistborn. Do you read these books or are you afraid there is a chance of damaging the books and keep them on the shelves as a kind of trophy? Just curious...

I read my Elantris leatherbound, and it was amazing. I didn't carry it around with me or anything though, I kept reading it restricted to my bedroom and made sure my hands were always clean.
