HoidvsVoid
So if anyone has the tenth anniversary edition of elantris, you will see a map in the beginning of the book that shows the land of arelon and it shows that its split into different sections named after aons (or before). However on the top right and bottom left are two sections both named eon. Is it a mistake or was it intentionally done and signifies something important? WeiryWriter he/him
If I remember correctly it was not intentional but I think Peter rationalized it as them possibly being run by two branches of the same family.

I seem to recall this as well, though I can't for the life of me find his exact quote... He mentioned something about the plantations being named after the noble that controls them, and the two Eons could simply belong to cousins, or something like that.
