Does the Wit show up as an informant in book 3 of Mistborn? I'm not so sure because I talked briefly with Brandon about this and he said he wasn't but if you look in the glossary it says he is.

Book 3 is not out yet, boss :) Your time traveling device must've sent you to us a little too early.

So I am not sure what you mean. Wit, a.k.a. Hoid, was an informant in The Final Empire and in The Hero of Ages. He is (mostly) just the King's Wit in the Stormlight series.

Thanks. They way Brandon briefly described it sounded like he wasn't, but I was making sure :)

Methinks you got a little mixed up, @Argent.  Book three was "The Hero of Ages", which as you said, features Hoid very briefly (we don't even actually see him when he's identified directly).  He's both the informant and apparently leading the Terris refugees later, too.

It wasn't clear which "book 3" OP was referring to. I suspected they meant The Hero of Ages, but it's unusual to refer to Hoid as Wit in the context of the greater Cosmere. So I figured a clarification was necessary.
