bdoble97
I'm probably one of the only ones if not the only one that has thought of this is the end of you want kaladin and Syl to end up together maybe somehow you can take a physical form. My wife is always made fun of me because I am a hopeless romantic and secretly like rom-coms. I have never wanted Kaladin to get with Shallan. If.you.die.I.go.stupid
Not something I've considered, and not a ship I'd like to see. It might be possible though. I don't know about Syl becoming physical, but Kaladin could become incorporeal and hangout with Syl and maybe even Kelsier in Shadesmare. I don't see it happening, but theoretically, I guess it could.
Yata he/him
It's not something I really want to say....but if Kal dies and for some reason He became a Cognitive Shadow, in the end they will be both Spren-like beings

In the end they are something like "humanspren" without a better term Edited September 25, 2016 by Yata

galendo
I don't know that there's any "somehow" to Syl taking a physical form. I mean, she can turn into a full-sized person as of WoK and can take physical form as of WoR, so unless there's sort of density or complexity limitation, she could probably already be a full-sized, physical person if she wanted to. Whether to ship her with Kaladin or not...well, the only two women I absolutely wouldn't want to see Kaladin end up with at the moment are Shallan and Navani (and sort of Laharl; I'm inclined against her, but not necessarily irreconcilably so). Anyone else, literally anyone, is fair game as far as I'm concerned, Syl included. Or no one at all; I'm fine with that, too. If I had to put Kaladin with someone, though, at the moment I'd probably pick Lift. Yes, yes, age difference, different kingdoms, complete strangers, blah blah blah. All could be overcome with time. There's just something strikingly similar between "I will protect those who cannot protect themselves" and "I will remember those who have been forgotten" that makes me think they'd understand each other in a way that others wouldn't, and complement each other as a result.
Sand Master
I've considered Kaladni/Syl before as well, but I don't think it would work out in the end. Yes, Syl has a kind of innocence to her that Kaladin tends to want to protect (much like Tien), but I think it's that very innocence that would make Syl into something more like a sister to Kaladin than a romantic interest. She's usually depicted as very youthful, and I feel like she's (probably permanently) going to be more of a child with the intelligence of an adult than anything else. I think it would just be weird. As for my personal hopes, I absolutely ship Shalladin and hope that we get to see Laral throw herself at Kaladin after seeing that he's a KR, followed by Kaladin completely ignoring her.
