jgros009 he/him
Hi everyone, I have been checking this site out for some time now (mainly via links from the Wiki) and decided I would join. I started reading Sanderson in college, when I was finishing up the WoT series. I was so impressed with his writing style and faithfulness to Robert Jordan that I had to delve a little deeper into his work. I started by reading the Mistborn trilogy and followed that up within a year or so with the first two novels in the SA. Needless to say, I have not looked back since. His books, magic systems, and character development is amazing and I feel like I am constantly engaged. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that, up until a reading the most recent Wax and Wayne Era Mistborn novel (and consequently buying Mistborn: SH right after having finished it), I did not realize that all of these novels were tied together into an overarching fantasy world. Upon realizing this, a love for and desire to read every single piece of Brandon's Cosmere related work overtook me. Since then I have been doing a lot of research into the ties that bind this incredible fantasy world. Up to this point, I have read all of his major novels, but I am trying to hold out on a few of the novellas until the Arcanum Unbound collection ships in November (time will tell if I can make myself wait). I am happy to be here and greatly enjoy the theories I have read so far!
Renoux she/her
Welcome! If you've read all the books, you don't have to worry about spoilers, but don't take the cookies, they are... Ruined.
KnightRadiant she/her
Welcome to the Shard, have an upvote! I read all of Mistborn Era I, WoK, most of WoR, and all of Mistborn Era II before I found the Cosmere. I was reading SH and WoR at the same time, and then saw the name Nazh in both books. You're not alone in not-knowing-about-the-cosmere-until-most-of-the-way-through Also, as Renoux said, don't accept the cookies!! They are... Inquisitor friendly.
jgros009 he/him
@KnightRadiant Once I realized everything was connected I had to do a mass reread. Nazh was one of the overlaps I noticed first as well!
