The leaders of the spren

In the excerpts from WoR, Jasnah reveals that the cryptics and her own spren are like princes among the spren, they are not the absolute leaders. They are in conflict with the honorspren, so it seems reasonable to assume that honorspren have a roughly comparable standing amongst their own kind. Syl mentions that the honorspren had been forbidden by the stormfather from going back into the physical world. This implies that the stormfather is "king" of the honorspren, and could be a spren himself. It stands to reason that there is also a leader of the cryptic side, which I think is the Nightmother.

I've been thinking something very similar. I'm just not sure how to fit in Wyndle and the Ring. Maybe just like the spren have cities they have different forms of government? Of course the Ring could be misleading and it could be referring to an entity like the Stormfather and Nightmother.
