kvn Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Just saying hi. I'm new around here. Really I'm new to Sanderson (and truth be told, even new to reading regularly. Didn't do much of it before discovering his works). But I've prevailed over my lazy, procrastinating, uninterested side and managed to read all things Mistborn (and White Sand Vol. 1) during the past few months. I have now decided to commit myself to the Cosmere to unravel its mysteries one word at a time. Looking forward to the vast theories and truths alike that will be shared here. 6
Ammanas Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Welcome! If all you have read is Mistborn and White Sand then you have a lot to keep you busy for the future: Elantris, Stormlight Archives, Warbreaker etc. 1

I have ordered Elantris and Warbreaker. I've also preordered Arcanum Unbounded. That's going to be a fun book with all it's added maps and details Sanderson is including. Elenion he/him Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) Welcome to 17th Shard! A warning: the cookies they inevitably will offer you contain (Mistborn spoiler) Spoiler Hemalurgic spikes. Also, the place to be on the thread is the Sanderson Elimination subforum. And have the customary upvote. Edited July 29, 2016 by Elenion 1
Zoaez she/her Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Ooo, you've ruined yourself for reading now... no one seems as good at storytelling after I read all of Brandon's books (but maybe I'm just striking out). Welcome to the cosmere!
CaptainRyan he/him Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Hi @kvn, welcome. May I offer a word of caution? Be very careful when reading on this site as there are tons of spoilers for the books you have not read. The Mistborn Subforum is probably the only forum you want to be reading in the "Cosmere" section or else you might end up getting great moments ruined for you. Good luck and welcome! 1
kvn Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 @CaptainRyan indeed! I'm very cautious of spoilers. I do my best to avoid even the tiniest of them. Thank you for the advice.
