Hey! Need advice :)

Hey everyone!! 

I'm Andy, I love reading, and Brandon Sanderson is probably my favourite author at the moment  

 

I've read the first 3 Reckoners books before anything else, and LOVED them. Have Calamity to read, will probably crack it out over the next few days. 

 

But the entire Mistborn series, is by far my favourite set of books ever. Finished Bands of Mourning a couple of days back, and it blew me away! So I read Mistborn: Secret History yesterday, and I am now desperate for something more to read! 

 

 I started browsing the Internet, and from what I can gather, Brandons other books, are based on other shards? 

 

Can someone help me on what to read next? I've tried not to read too much into the other books, in case I stumble upon spoilers, so I am really not sure where to head!

Welcome to the Shard!

Elantris would be my next recommendation, then Warbreaker and then of course the Stormlight Archive. Stormlight is probably Brandons best written series but I'd recommend the other two first for some more background on the cosmere in general.

I agree! Elantris next, now that you have fallen in love with Brandon it is time to back track and fill in the gaps before starting Stormlight Archive (although the stories themselves to not appear connected, there are things you will pick up on in WoR and WoK if you've read the others first). And trust me, do not look too far into the greater cosmere theories until you have read more, there are lots of spoilers!

Just don't do what I did, which was to read Words of Radiance (Stormlight #2) before Warbreaker, or the epilogue will not have the impact that it should. Also, if you want to avoid spoilers, I would advise you to stay out of the Stormlight subforum of the site completely until you've finished both thus-far-released books.
