D.Crawford he/him Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Hello Everyone, I'm Dara, and I just recently finished reading the Mistborn Trilogy, which was amazing. I also just ate up The Alloy Of Law, this too was amazing. I've only heard of Brandon Sanderson this year, so I will be sure to check out his other books after I'm finish with the Mistborn Series, so any recommendations are welcome. After finishing the first trilogy, I had this drive to write some music for the books, characters and locations. I thought this might be a nice place to share with some like minded people, the music is free to download from my website: www.daracrawford.com Music is also available through youtube: Warrior Of Ascension The Deepness Ball At House Venture If anyone would like to donate some artwork for future videos I would really appreciate it. I have a ton of themes, but sadly I still need to mix and master them before I can share. If you're into it - a positive comment is always welcome, as well as providing me with a motivational boost. Thank You. 3
Voidus Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Welcome to the forums!I always recommend reading Elantris as soon as possible, it's a great book but it was Brandons first so if you read it after reading some of his later books it can get a bad rap.Can I interest you in a welcome-cookie? 1
Zathoth Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I think you should take a break from Mistborn and read his other Cosmere works first to really get what is happening. Start with Elantris or Warbreaker, then once you are done with those read The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance and then get back to Mistborn. Of course that is just my humble opinion, you may read them in any order you like.
D.Crawford he/him Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Cookie, yes please. I am dying to know what happens with Waxillium and Wayne, especially after that ending. Yeah I have Elantris on my wish list... Okay, I just ordered Elantris thanks for the recommendations Voidius and Morzathoth.
