Mr. Staccato he/him
A few years back, I ventured into wattpad back when it wasn't so mainstream and I actually found moderate success in it - but back then, I wasn't serious about the stories I was writing. Now that I am, I'm having second thoughts about using wattpad as a medium, especially since I find the site difficult sometimes (too much hassle) and I need a place to put up or at least store my chapters so that I could go over them or have some of my beta-reader friends look over it without actually posting it. Blogging sites are foreign to me by the way so that's out of the picture. Basically, can somebody point me to a benevolent place for writers-in-need everywhere? I'm considering a few more sites out there but I'd really want someone's opinions on this first - I'm holding out on that hope that someone has actually find paradise out there and is willing to lead me to it. P.S. If this has already been discussed, please just point me to the appropriate thread instead.
Kaymyth she/her
I don't know about writer-centered sites, but I've taken to using Google docs for beta reading purposes. It lets me track all suggested changes and the readers can interact with each other, which I think is pretty cool. You can limit who has access to the link and what level of editing access they have.
