Guest Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Since I have *finally* listen to this extract (I dislike listening, I prefer reading as I fear I may miss too much information by listening only: I am a poor listener ) I have new thought pertaining Sadeas's legacy. This confirms Ialai certainly isn't 10 years younger than Sadeas, she seemingly is about the same age as Dalinar, Gavilar, Sadeas and Navani. he extract referred to her as "Ialai Sadeas" which means she was married then. It thus settle the account: Sadeas married young as per most Alethi. Ialai is reasonably too old to still carry children and their lack of offspring likely indicate fertility issues. So what could have been this news Ialai was so intend on telling Sadeas? Surely it had to do with their planning to over-throw Dalinar and sine both of them had decided Adolin was an easier target to unsettle Dalinar so what if the news she had were with respect to the stolen Plate or Toe himself, the mysterious uncle? What was in the wedding agreement the Kohlin passed with the foreigners? It brings in a new perspective to this particular debate...
