Wellimsen he/him Posted March 26, 2016 Author Posted March 26, 2016 The cookie seems to be rather pointy and metallic... 1
Nashan’Elin he/him Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I see you are aware of the pointiness of the cookies. Good... Anyways, welcome! Have an upvote!
Stormgate he/him Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 1) out of curiosity, how do you know about the cookies? 2) Sanderson has written more than just Mistborn and Stormlight Archive. Check it out. 3) does the word "Cosmere" mean anything to you?
Wellimsen he/him Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 1) At every forum there is at least one person giving away things to win over people with some kind of gifts. That, and I read a couple of other introductions. 2) Yeah, I plan to read some other books by him after I've finished Bands of Mourning. Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards Elantris and the Rithmatists books. 3) Yes, I've noticed some of the similarities and hints myself, and later I read some about it. I'm not looking for any more ways to connect the planets though, but I might pay more attention to those things if I re-read some of the books later.
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Hey! Have you read any of Brandon's other non-cosmere works? I recommend Steelheart, quite the insightful read
Sunbird she/her Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Hey! Have you read any of Brandon's other non-cosmere works? I recommend Steelheart, quite the insightful read Yes! Steelheart and the rest of the Reckoners books are all fantastic! Also, if you haven't read Warbreaker yet, I would recommend reading that and then re-reading the Stormlight books, particularly Words of Radiance. The epilogue to WoR will make more sense then.
Stormgate he/him Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 3) Yes, I've noticed some of the similarities and hints myself, and later I read some about it. We probably have most/all of them figured out at this point, at least the ones it's possible to find. *We get bored. And then weird things happen. Weird ships happen.
