Is Lopen KR or what's going on This might have been talked about before but I just joined and this is kinda bugging me. Yata he/him Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Lopen (like others Bridgemen) becames a Kaladin's Squire. Some Orders (or maybe all, we have no proofs) of KR develop Squires, men with a strong bond with the KR that develop some abilities. You saw some of them during one of Dalinar's vision.... The Vision at the purelake and the hunt to a Tunderclast, they was no KR but Squire of a KR. As far as we know the "only" power gained by a Squire is the ability to absorb and gain all the benefit of the Stormlight Edited March 11, 2016 by Yata 1

Its been while since I read WoR but I don't think this is what's implied in the text. I think they have their own role in the order to assist and support their KRs - like when the bridgemen throw Kaladin their spheres before he fights Szeth
