My name is Craig, but I will also answer to Uilos or just Los. I am a nascent writer and game developer, working primarily with a team for a live action roleplay game of The Dresden Files. I'm also a massive Star Wars nerd and lightsaber combat enthusiast and philosopher.

I became a fan of Brandon when he went on tour for the first Wheel of Time book that he had done. A friend had taken me to the signing in Manhattan and she put Mistborn: the Final Empire, in my hand. After listening to Brandon talk, and listening and reading most of his works, he is the author I most look to when wanting to learning world and magic building. I'm most interested in the Cosmology (or Cosmereology) that Brandon as cooking. He's making one hell of a long term story, and he's got me hooked until he finished. After Bands of Mourning and Secret Histories, I decided it was time to step up and start sharing thoughts.

Hello! I dunno how long you've lurked, but there is a Star Wars section somewhere in this maze of a forum. Don't ask me where it is. I found it once. :) Looks like you've read a bunch of the cosmere. Have you found the Coppermind wiki yet? It's got a lot of good information about cosmere-y stuff.

You sound like you are an intelligent person. That's good. We always need more of those. Good luck surviving!

Apparently I've had an account for a while, but I only just signed up yesterday. I have read the Coppermind and I find it almost as entertaining as the books themselves and love that people are putting all of the pieces together.

Thanks for the welcome!

Yessss, another Dresden Files fan! I'd love to hear about your LARP. It sounds like you are into all sorts of awesome stuff.

If you are super into the Cosmere, I believe there's a whole board for Cosmere theories somewhere around here that I think you'd enjoy.

PS: if anyone offers you a "cookie," think twice about accepting; it's the code word for a hemalurgic spike. You may want to check out The Dark Alley to find out if you really want to accept.

I shall endeavor to be mindful of hemalurgic confections. And the Dresden Game uses a similar system to their RPG, very character driven and less mechanical crunch.  I was thinking of using it to homebrew a Mistborn larp I had cooking in my head.
