Maresia he/him
I dont really have any theory about this but maybe there are others who made this questions. Can spren fight eachother? in shadesmar or roshar? Also, If theres any bond or spren between the shardbearer and his sword, can the sword kill his own master? like by accident or suicide. Last one, also random. Is there somethign similar to the high storms in shadesmar? I know, this are weird questions xD. Feel free to say whathever you think.
Bloodfalcon he/him
I suppose they could fight each other. WOR content: We know there is at least a rivalry of sorts between Honorspren and Cryptics, so there is at least a reason to fight. I don't know how much more evidence we could pull in here. I would just guess yes.
duladen he/him
There's a quote somewhere in WoK (don't have cuz I'm on mobile) where Syl says that all spren are, essentially, the same being. For this reason, I doubt they would fight each other. HOWEVER, it has been speculated that Odium-corrupted spren are responsible for turning the Parshendi into Voidbringers. If this is true, then the Knights Radiant fighting Voidbringers would be the equivalent of spren fighting one another through beings of the Physical Realm. Interesting. I think the shard plate and blade are products of the nahel bond. So when humans without the bond take up someone else's blade, they feel an echo of that bond. To me, the high storms seems like a mechanism to distribute the Power of Honor (stormlight) and the Body of Cultivation (crem) throughout the Physical Realm of Roshar, and were set up by Tanavast and whoever holds the Cultivation Shard. If this is true, I doubt there is an equivalent in the Cognitive Realm.
Swimmingly he/him
But a moving Spiritual rent able to open latent gateways and trigger true dreams and visions of the past is likely to cause some disturbance; if only because it affects so much. People get afraid, stones and ripped, houses are rent, grass is swept - things notice. Perhaps you would need to be an Elsecaller or Lightweaver to tell, but I think you definetly could. RadiantNights
I would say it's a definite yes that spren can fight each other. I mean look at when kaladin was dying and syl stood on his chest with her sword and fought off the death spren for him. Although I would say that only a bonded spren who shows signs of intelligence would be able to do that. A highstorm in shadesmar would be sooo painful. Could you imagine getting pelted with those beads? Like super hail
el_warko he/him
1) That would be awesome. Rotspren vs. Alespren Round 1 Fight. 2) I have often pondered this. I personally think that the blade would pass through you and you'd feel like someone was walking on your grave. That or it would act like a normal blade i.e. Radiants / Blade holders could do blood oaths. As an extension of this, say you had a shardblade and scored a hit on someones upper limb, would the next pass of the blade below the first hit sever it physically, or does the soul have to be completely removed for a Shardblade to cut flesh? 3) For my mind, assuming they are mirrored in Shadesmar, highstorms are the opposite to on Roshar. As in they suck towards the "origin" as opposed to blow. That said, as I am not that well versed in the Cosmere. I invite those who are to extrapolate for me on the following: If Shadesmar is the cognitive realm and a gateway between all the phyical realms, Scadrial, Sol, Roshar etc. If a highstorm in Roshar had a Shadesmar mirror, would this in turn have a physical effect on a Scadrial / Sol etc.?
