Morsk he/him Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I used to want to see Jasnah and Dalinar's conversation about being an atheist vs. God being dead. But they seem to have had that conversation with Shallan and Navani already, instead of with each other. Now I most want to see Voidbinding, and what all the fuss is about seeking to know the future. Is it really dangerous for perfectly normal people to wonder what's going to happen tomorrow, like they'll spontaneously get a perfect vision of tomorrow, then monsters will explode everywhere and attack? It can't be that bad.
Swimmingly he/him Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Imagine your home country was ravaged by a warrior race that powered their vehicles with lemon juice, used lemon juice for torture, and had a lemon on their flag. This might cause lemons to become taboo in the coming centuries. Same with foresight, just taken (as with many other things) to an extreme by the Alethi.
