Voidus Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Well, yeah, a popular substance called opium probably had something to do with it. Therefore my Scribbler WHOOC must be at least as good as Alice in Wonderland because I was taking opiates at the time too. 2

Voidus Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Yeah, if only it were a bit long. It may get extended in the future 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 Lightwards recruiting: Let me know if anything needs changing in that last post. Looks good! So I'm guessing Funtimes' call that she was in Thoughttown for the day went to voicemail? 1
Kobold King he/him Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Looks good! So I'm guessing Funtimes' call that she was in Thoughttown for the day went to voicemail? I forgot all about that, actually. I suppose we could say that. Given how the timelines aren't synced in a cohesive manner, is it possible that the Museum is slightly ahead of Thoughttown, so that Lightwards only gets the message now that he's coming out of the Museum? 1

Either way is fine. I left it open so we could have the timelines off slightly, he could answer the call as it came, or he could've had his mobile on silent and find the voicemail waiting for him when he's finished his other business. 1
Voidus Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 And then Aldo accidentally speared the museum on the giant column of diamond Lucentia was using to get down.
Kobold King he/him Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 And then Aldo accidentally speared the museum on the giant column of diamond Lucentia was using to get down. That's why I made sure the Museum tipped and lurched a few times. So it would disconnect from the column and descend without getting impaled. See, I'm always thinking. 1
Voidus Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Rats. My plan for blowing up the museum has failed once more
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 It's funny, the first time I read the new Lightwards post, I thought his thoughts were not "I don't need Funtimes or Lucentia to move to and from my fortress anymore" but "I don't need Funtimes or Lucentia anymore." Applied to real life, this leads to much hilarity. "I learned how to climb the stairs on my own! I'M A GOD." 5

I make demands of this device and it turns on this little light! This is a sign that the microwave has accepted the great and just rule of my Empire of Light!" 2

Kobold King he/him Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Until Remington unplugs it and declares his reign of terror to be at its end. And Aldo's the one who had to plug it in for him in the first place. 4
Voidus Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 And Aldo's the one who had to plug it in for him in the first place. And Funtimes is the one who made the plug. 4
Kobold King he/him Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 And Funtimes is the one who made the plug. ...I don't know why, but this one actually made me laugh out loud until my sides hurt. 3

(Although in this case I suspect it was to reflect the fact that Lightwards is the one who started calling her that) 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 This is the first time I've noticed but we do have a remarkable tendency to refer to Funtimes as 'the good doctor' don't we? (Although in this case I suspect it was to reflect the fact that Lightwards is the one who started calling her that) It's because of the pancakes, I tell ya. Those are almost goodness incarnate, almost. (Almost misspelled as almoist. ) Wouldn't it be fun that now with the museum on the ground, Lucentia takes the pillar down and the debris hits Lightwards and the museum.
Voidus Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Well MVs on the ground now so she'd be able to freeze anything that was about to crush her or Backtrack. Meaning Lightwards and co are the only ones in any danger.Voidus approves. 1
