DSC01 he/him Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 There's a thread in the Stormlight forum, so why not here? At the end of the first trilogy, Ruin has just about won, but or heroes are defiant. Manchester Orchestra's "Virgin" really reminds me of that atmosphere (and it mentions rust): https://youtu.be/fKgSs0MQ270
DeadFencer Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The attack on Titan opening. It's really awesome, and the part of the video where everyone flies straight up into the air looks like Coinshots.

Duskshard he/him Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Every time I hear Maroon 5's - Moves like Jagger the sequence of Vin and Zane attacking House Venture to kill Cett plays through my mind. I don't know why, it must of being playing on the radio or on the TV in the background as I was reading that scene and now they're linked in my mind. 1
Plaeggs he/him Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) Sharp Dressed Man for Elend. Just 'cause I'm listening to it right now.Come fly with me for the Kelsier-Vin training sessions Uptown Girl for Vin-Elend relationship, but reversed (Skaa-slum Girl). Stormgate he/him Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 For Kelsier, the first song that comes to mind is the Disney song 'A Whole New World'. It basically sums up Kelsier and Vin's relationship. 1
Plaeggs he/him Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Maybe at first, with Kell being a strange, fascinating figure and potential love interest, but not later. He turns into a father figure/older half-sibling caretaker (like Reen should have been) near the end.
Tellingdwar he/him Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Kinda breaking the pattern here, but... When I ran my MAG campaign in the Southern Islands, one of my players made a drinking song: 3
