Elbereth she/her Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) Greetings! Welcome to the 17th Shard! We have theories (and cookies, though I would be wary of accepting them). If you want only solid info, go for the Coppermind wiki, if you haven't already found it yet. Otherwise, feel free to theorycraft with us! Which of the books have you read? hanago9 Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 I started with Sanderson when he finished the Wheel of Time. I think I read the original Mistborn trilogy before AMoL came out. I was floored by the magic system, and by the cosmic feel of the ending. I also was frustrated that it ended without exploring what was clearly a much deeper world/system. I started Way of Kings after finishing AMoL. Honestly I had a difficult time starting it after coming down from the WoT ending. Once I made it past the mid point though, I became a huge fan. I once again felt the magic system was awesome, and was hoping Stormlight Archive would explore it in more depth. I think it was when I started Words of Radiance that I stumbled upon the Coppermind wiki. So much wonderful stuff. I chained through Elantris, Warbreaker, and Alloy of Law shortly after finishing WoR. Just finished Shadows of Self last night.

hanago9 Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 Pretty awesome. I really dig Sanderson's take on Godhood in AoL and this one! Totally excited for the Bands of Mourning.
