We first have to set him on fire. Huh, to be entirely honest I'm not a big fan of peanut bouuter but I'm also not the one eating the biscuits, so i guess that is fine. I'm really not a great artist but I'm trying to improve a bit so I can do more concept art, texturing and modelling for games. For those interested the latest piece I'm working on: Little embarrassed to be showing stuff off publicly but I could really use some feedback and such, this is a concept piece for the entrance to a kind of ice-cave. For those interested the latest piece I'm working on: Little embarrassed to be showing stuff off publicly but I could really use some feedback and such, this is a concept piece for the entrance to a kind of ice-cave. It looks really good, particularly for concept art! As for legitimate criticisms, the two things I'd say you need to work on most is textures and shadows. The shadow on the boulder and the ice/rock wall in the back are pretty good, but with where they suggest the light is originating from, that snow pile to the right needs some shadow added. In addition, the snow pile in general could use some texture, as well as the walls in the back; they seem too smooth to be naturally formed. That all said, you did the snow in the wind really well, and you've conveyed the wind direction well too. I also really like your ice stalagmites in the bottom left, though the stalactites could use a bit of texture, though that's secondary to the snow and ice/rock wall. Also excellent use of the diagonals to showcase depth. I know there's a specific word for the technique, but I can't remember it right now...it's been 6 years since I took that art appreciation class. 1

Yeah the lighting/shadows is something I'm really trying to work on, I can usually get the perspective close to accurate for the solid stuff but I keep messing up with shadows, so in this one now that I'm looking at it again the shadow on the wall at the back is too wide and dense. Textures are something I'm actually not too bad at, I just haven't gone over this piece with them yet but I do think it needs some more texture now. Thanks for the feedback, this is the first thing I've shown anyone since I was in 8th grade so I'm mostly just happy that everything was recognizable and you didn't think it was supposed to be a frog or something.

I call foul. As much as I like the ponies and comics I have been lead to belive that no one here has the artistic skills to create an alternative. This is clearly not the case. To reiterate, it looks excellent. I'll never, in my life, be able to create a piece of artwork that is even close to that. You shouldn't be so embarrassed.

Does the Akinator find out if the character that you are thinking of is Lightwards by asking if he decks himself with false blossoms to pilfer a goat from a burning house while hiding a borrowed knife behind his smile? Been busy writing 113 Epic backgrounds for my evil city of Adelaide but I'm in the mood for a bit of a break from that.

The Dominion didn't do anything so there isn't really anything for NT to spy on, Lightwards still hasn't moved, same for time in the Dalles. Maybe a Cornucopia post? How would your character conduct an interview with an Epic that arrived in town just yesterday, assuming your character can mind read and is a Slontze of course? All of you just go ahead and post in the Question but Mail-mi, you're something special, so how about you post in the Dalles instead? 1
