Luftstark
Hello, Just introducing myself. My name is Bruno, a 26 yo brazilian who lives in São Paulo. I'm a long time fan of Brandon Sanderson work. I got to know his work after the announcement that he was going to finish the WoT series. I've read, recomended and gifted to friends most of his books and stories. In my opinion, Warbreaker is my favorite stand alone book ever. (althou i hear a sequel is on the way...) Mistborn has one of the coolest magic systems, as it is simple and grafic. No one can read it and not want to become a mistborn. Finaly, i just loved the first book of the Stormlight Archive and i have high hopes for the series. Waiting patiently for WoR. Thanks for those responsable for this site and forum, as it is always a pleasure to debate our favorite books with other crazy fans ^^. I'm mostly a forum lurker, but i may post something here and there. C'ya
Mysty she/her
Welcome to the club Luftstark! But I don't know how you can be "patiently" waiting for WoR, I am dying with anticipation here! All of the reading just keep wetting my apetite for more. Especially the chapter in the steelhunt vault...march can't get here soon enough. Warbreaker will have a sequel, but don't expect to get it for a few years. See you around the forum, Mysty
Argent he/him
A Warbreaker sequel is on the way about as much as you are on your way of becoming old - it will happen, just not anytime soon But, where are my manners? Welcome, welcome! Come, sit! Eat, drink, and talk about the Cosmere! Enjoy your stay here! The last part sounds much better if you imagine me with a booming announcer voice. EDIT: Mysty, somehow up until now I was kind of okay with waiting for Words of Radiance. Reading you explicitly say March up there (even though I knew the release date) made me really realize how long of a wait it will be. I now experience feelings of strong dislike towards your persona. Mysty she/her
Sorry Argent...I knew I never should not have counted the intervening months between now and WoR, but my mom just wanted to know when she could get the book for my brother...too many months away, sigh! Argent he/him
So you felt the need to come here and rain on everybody's day. Real smooth there, partner. Real smooth.
Luftstark
Hey, thks for the welcome =D I do wait patiently, as there is nothing else i can do about it. I live in Brazil and i'll probably just get my hands on the book by april, so, if u guys are feeling blue, just think about all the people abroad who will have to wait long deliveries to start devouring the book. Also, i've been there for aSoIaF (5 years for book 5) and WoT. So... it's nothing new ^^ But i'm restless and will probably just do some rereads to wait ^^
FeatherWriter she/her
Glad to have you around, Luft! As for that WoR wait we've got ahead of us, in my case it's less of a "patient" wait as a "clawing-at-my-face-and-crying-over-fictional-characters-at-odd-hours-of-the-morning" wait. You know, the life of a Sanderfan, right?
