Know I've seen these posts in the past, but cannot remember if it was general or specific one. If out of place, amend it or bring it to my attention.

This first one is more of a slight continuity error.

On the first half-page of Chapter 10, David remembers having two handguns in his apartment.
On the first half-page of Chapter 16, David says he has only ever owned two guns, a rifle and a pistol.

Anyway, Carry on.

“It’s over,” Prof said, voice harsh. “We ran.”

We ran.

I can't give the page number because I have the e-book but I'm guessing the italic is supposed to be "We run."

I read that as Prof saying "It's over because we ran," and then David realizing why.

I am with Morsk on that one. Mostly.

It's over. - statement of fact

We ran. - the reason why it's over

We ran. - sounds more like a general realization / repetition from shock. But that's irrelevant.
