Not in the near future, no.

Well, that leaves us with only one realistic source of squid import per teleporter, does it? :P (That reminds me, I suppose she would be useful for Arsenal's export plans with Khione.)

Unless, of course….. :P

That would be a posibility. (How old is Khione anyway?)

Name: I don't have one that fits yet

Gender: Female

Primary: Can create three different types of gels; one that hardens on impact with a solid, one ballistic gel, and one that has some resistance to fire. She can produce about 8 liters of gel per second.

Secondary: Manipulation of the gels, she can manipulate only one type of gel at a time, and a maximum of 500 liters of it.

Passive: When targeted by a projectile, ballistic gel is unconsciously formed around her, protecting her from impact. She cannot breathe when she is protected like this.

Her corruption manifest itself in a haughtiness and self-centered manner where she will thoughtlessly kill any vanilla who gets in her way.

Weakness: When she was young, she was almost killed in an auto accident, and her weakness is approaching red cars, though approaching cars of any kind within 50 feet will trigger her weakness.

I've been planning (Terrible I know but I think 10,000 Epics is enough for now) Scribblers story a bit and I realized that her ability to manipulate ink isn't very well defined particularly in the sense of defining what exactly ink is, how much pressure she can exert and so on.

I'm having difficulty in limiting her scope since her manifesting things she writes is already pretty broad so if she can manipulate the dyes in peoples clothing and strangle them with it she might be getting into slightly too high-levels.

Since Lucy is trying so hard to suppress her powers, it could be fun to have her upper limits be quite powerful, and have the main thing limiting her from exploiting those upper limits be her desire not to be corrupted.

On the other hand, if her powers are that strong, her ability to resist corruption for so long would be much more improbable.

What if her ability to actualize ink is tied to her own DNA/Identity (we know epic powers somewhat work on this level from motivators).  Her tattoos could work because they are dyed into her skin.  For the ink that is not on her, perhaps she needs to prepare ink mixed with her saliva or something in order to actualize it?

EDIT:  Also, sorry for vanishing for the weekend.  Craig and I and some friends went on a camping trip, and it was fantastic despite the constant drizzle.  Now I know a little of the Corvallis citizens' pain.

PS:  What would Khione think of Rainmaker?  Would they get along, or clash horribly?

Depends on whether they were working toward a common goal, or if they were in competition with each other. If they were working together, Khione would admire the firm hand with which Rainmaker rules her city, and think using Euphoria to keep her people happy with their lot was very clever. She'd find it easier to attribute the riots to external forces and not hold Rainmaker responsible. If they were competing, or things between them turned sour, Khione would find her annoying, call her a "paper tigress" behind her back, and blame the riots on her inability or unwillingness to punish wrongdoing where she saw it.

What will Mistwraith wake up to?

Winter: Mistwraith would wake up in a small room with a screen on the wall. A short message would play of Quicksilver informing her that she would be taking part in a field test of her abilities, as well as her ability to follow orders and work with the other Slivers. She could then go into the next room where there would be battle gear and weapons, all made out of metal.

So do you know where you want this character to go? Currently, there are 3 cities open to Epic characters. Corvallis is the first. It's a highly structured city that's currently in a state of slow collapse. Astoria is the second. It's basically a dumping ground for our overpowered Epics (so if you wanted to beef her up a bit...) Finally, there's Salem. It's a sort of Epic fight club. Characters are either contestants trying to rise up through the ranks and earn fame and fortune, or participants in some sort of conspiracy-thing. At the moment, neither of these plots is getting much attention, so you'd be free to shape them however you wanted. The other two cities (Portland and The Dalles) are kind of full right now, though The Dalles is accepting non-Epics

So if you want to mostly fight with her in arena matches, go to Salem. If you want to do a bit more role playing, with less fighting (but still some) and more interaction between people, go to Corvallis.

She is pretty powerful already, the limiting factor is how much time it takes for her to do anything that would be hugely corruption-inducing. She doesn't want to be like most Epics but her corruption manifests mostly as an increasing view that Epics aren't really people so she's not actually too invested in preventing that. :(

Huh. I quite like that idea, though in typical creepy Epic fashion I'll probably use blood rather than saliva.

Corvallis sounds like the type of game I want to play. On second thought, the cars coming generally closer would act on her powers in the same way as a non-red car coming right at her, which I will tentatively say cuts her powers to 0.8 liters produced per second, and 50 manipulated at one time.

Well, the backstory to Corvallis is pretty complicated, so I'd suggest reading it all the way through, if you haven't already. good luck! :)

One issue I have though with you being in Corvallis with that weakness, is that Corvallis has cars quite commonly. We haven't exactly established HOW common they are for people, but they exist and are relatively common for Epics, and government and law enforcement figures and such.

So her weakness would be triggered pretty commonly I would think.
