TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Sure. Just bring up the possibility of retconning her into a cell?
Blackhoof Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I'm not sure, using a character that's a fallen hero and ultimately ends up as a villain could be a bad omen, even if the picture is nice. What's up with Orange Crush, by the way? well that seems to be the inevitable fate of all Epics that don't face their fear, after all The sun rose over The Dalles, filtering into a tired Vondra's office. He stood facing a window with a mug of coffee in his hand, brow furrowed in a look of deep thought. "Rhonda," he said finally. "Clear my schedule. It's time I taught Skylar's redhead a thing or two about how we do things here." There ya go. Next Dalles post good and ready to go. More seriously, I think she should be fine working autonomously. A feral redhead? she doesn't eat people does she? It seems as though one of Iconoclast's ghouls wandered a bit far afield of his last conquest ...You know, having just finished a fanfiction about Frozen!Elsa's powers, I wonder what limits Oregon!Elsa has. I doubt the Epic version would be able to, say, create a sapient creation like Olaf the snowman, but could she create a golem or similar construct? Can she keep her ice from melting for long periods of time even when she's not touching it? Could she kill a man with a stare by lowering his body temperature to the point that he'd shatter at a touch? These are questions I have to ask. can Frozen Elsa do that? It seemed like she could only affect things with touch or with ice magic blasts. That and control ice, but nothing like lowering temperature or freezing things from a distance with nothing but a stair. But maybe Epic Elsa can, why not? It's true. Prior to Calamity, Nighthound was actually a good guy—and I don't mean that in the "he had a great personality" kind of way. If I met pre-Calamity Michael Jager at a coffee shop and struck up a conversation, I'd probably give him my number. Post-Calamity, I wouldn't run into him in the first place, because I'd install a "Nighthound Finder" app on my phone that told me which coffee shops he was likely to be in that day, so I could avoid him. On the subject of Nighthound: at what point did the "And then Nighthound Dies" meme actually start? Because as of like Page 15 of the Portland thread, Lightwards has killed more people than him (on-screen at least) from what I recall. Sure Lightwards does it to enlarge his army, and not just for fun, but still. All the torture must come later I suppose. Paradox post in Salem. His mentality is so weird to be in. I love his mentality XD
Voidus Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Nighthounds first arrival in Portland was just massacring a bunch of people for no real reason.
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Nighthounds first arrival in Portland was just massacring a bunch of people for no real reason. Whas Nighhound the first person on the ATTD list?
Kobold King he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Well nyarg, with her being a rather big security risk right now I really don't think she should be there. Kobold Twi, given that you have her in a PM already could you bring it up to her? Sure, we can bring it up. can Frozen Elsa do that? It seemed like she could only affect things with touch or with ice magic blasts. That and control ice, but nothing like lowering temperature or freezing things from a distance with nothing but a stair. But maybe Epic Elsa can, why not? Frozen Elsa can almost certainly do that. Her winter nearly froze everyone in Arendelle to death, and she wasn't even trying then. On the subject of Nighthound: at what point did the "And then Nighthound Dies" meme actually start? Nighthound actually has a much higher kill count, but Edgedancer doesn't describe every victim as graphically as I do. It's amazing how giving a side character a name and a basic description can make their death seem bigger, isn't it?

It's amazing how giving a side character a name and a basic description can make their death seem bigger, isn't it? I think I started "And then Nighthound died" a few questions ago, when I randomly added that sentence to passages from LoTR and one of my grad school textbooks. Or maybe someone else started it and I just added it to random things out of boredom and hatred for Nighthound.
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Is this what pre-Calamity Lucentia was like? You're fishing at this point, aren't you? You didn't get her quite right, she wouldn't have bother pointing out the the vest was scratchy in the first place. A feral redhead? she doesn't eat people does she? It seems as though one of Iconoclast's ghouls wandered a bit far afield of his last conquest ...Do I smell a sitcom? Sure, we can bring it up. Frozen Elsa can almost certainly do that. It's amazing how giving a side character a name and a basic description can make their death seem bigger, isn't it? Alright, thanks. The limitation in this case would probably be less with power than with control and precision. So even assuming she can concentrate her power that much at will, she probably wouldn't be able to muster the control unless she suddenly turned into a cold blooded sociopath. Something you should be thankful for, really. Actually, didn't Nighthound make you give up your attempt to keep track of the kill counts? Edited September 1, 2015 by Edgedancer

Actually, didn't Nighthound make you give up your attempt to keep track of the kill counts?Yes, though less because there were so many and more because of how hard it is to quantify "a crowd" of people. Also, 11, 000 posts, yay! Edited September 1, 2015 by Kobold King 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Yes, though less because there were so many and more because of how hard it is to quantify "a crowd" of people. Also, 11, 000 posts, yay! I suppose that's a valid argument. Now to get that baxter post done.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 I suppose that's a valid argument. Now to get that baxter post done. Crowd (noun): a group of people exceeding three in number, who do not deserve to be brutally murdered by Nighthound or any other Epic for any reason. Still doesn't quantify it, but oh well. 2

Still doesn't quantify it, but oh well. What about a "crowd" consisting of Timeport, Quota, Electro, Iconoclast, and other members of the ATTD list? (By the way, what did Deathwish do that got him put on the List? Was it the aerial sword shenanigans, or the threats he made against Impact?) 3

(Mostly the scene where he was expressing vague disappointment that she didn't shatter "into a million squishy pieces" that did it for me. I mean, I always knew he was a violent sleaze, but that scene solidified the fact that he was more than happy to combine those two components of his personality.) 1

I live for a world where that word is "unmarked mass grave." (Good to know. ) 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I live for a world where that word is "unmarked mass grave." (Good to know. ) The only mass grave around which there are several festivals. (Actually, why didn't Impact get an entry for using the civilians as ammunition? ) 2
Kobold King he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (Actually, why didn't Impact get an entry for using the civilians as ammunition? ) (Because she's cute and everyone remembers when she was snarky and lovable? )
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 (Because she's cute and everyone remembers when she was snarky and lovable? ) (In hindsight, she probably should have. )
Kobold King he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (In hindsight, she probably should have. ) (There, there. It's never too late. You can give her an extra double entry now for the hospital incident. )
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (There, there. It's never too late. You can give her an extra double entry now for the hospital incident. ) Or edit it in to where the Deathwish on is, for continuity sake.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Extra Impact entry added by Deathwish's first entry. 1

Edgedancer he/him Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Extra Impact entry added by Deathwish's first entry. Justice! of a rather inefficient kind.. but with fictional characters it's the thought that counts, right?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Justice! of a rather inefficient kind.. but with fictional characters it's the thought that counts, right? Out-of-game, it's very belated. In-game, Impact's fight with Deathwish was barely twelve hours ago, meaning justice was swifter than a real-life police investigation. (Okay, okay, I'm making excuses now. Cut me some slack. ) 1

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 I don't think many of these have meet in-game-justice... "Justice" is kind of a loose term here, considering most ATTD members won't receive actual justice for a while yet.
