The two alternatives still open would be Corvallis, which is more plot driven (I'd say more political as well but while that was intended it did end up rather heavy on the action side of things), and Astoria, which is generally where we put our more powerful Epics. Plus, soon everything will be overrun by the original 153 Epicmon.

Mwahahaha.

(Although this game might cut into my time a bit so the Epicmon may have to wait for now)

Behold the ultimate Brightdeath fashion show! :P Though as much as I enjoy it I have two questions 1) What does the insignia look like and 2)

"I can take others." Brightdeath said. "And I saw them earlier. So..." She grabbed her shoulder, the glove fadding away so she could make contact and she teleported to the Astoria Columns, fading into light.

Did you mean his shoulder or did she teleport alone... or was Bioterror a woman all this time and I didn't notice?:P

Anyway, those shadow Epics have it coming.

Sick of always being objectified by male Epics, Bioterror decided to change herself into a man to undermine the Patriarchy. :P

I also wonder, do teleporters in Oregon ever ask before grabbing onto people and porting them? :P

Oooohhhhh, I didn't know Astoria was such a hotbed for feminism! :P

As soon as Nighthound left a wave of Feminism rushed in to prevent him or Deathwish from ever entering the city :P

The weird thing is, couldn't Bioterror actually do that?

S/he could pretty easily, his power is mostly limited by mass rather than complexity.

Good for her. Now what does she look like?:P

Shiny Sparkle certainly doesn't. <_<

Well it is run by Lucentia, who happens to be a woman, of her two second in commands Deathgale is much more subservient and she keeps the Metal and the Financier more or less as a slave... so I guess. :P

Not sure whether or not I want to canonize it for the same reason I haven't given PP a persona that identifies as female, it's a pretty difficult to write someone struggling with gender identity like that when I have no experience with it.

Maybe zhe doesn't struggle with his gender and just switches it around because why the sparks not?:P (so wait, are we being serious? Sometimes I really can't tell with us. )

Rule 28 of WHIO: Every joke question turns serious at some point, when the players realize the situation they laughed about is actually possible.

How do you think Shiny Sparkle happened? ...and then her personality came from a second joke.

Origin of about half my Epics :P

I might do something like that but it probably wouldn't be revealed right now anyway, at the least zhe will probably switch appearance to other genders at various points to avoid detection.

The Financier and Unicyclist started as jokes, too.

How to flanderize a character before they even exsist. :P

Talking about he Unicyclist, what is he doing this fine morning of terror?

Depends on when Aldo or Lightwards unties him. Once that happens, he'll summon his Shardblade bagpipes and heal the injuries Nighthound so graciously gifted to him. <_< Edited by TwiLyghtSansSparkles

Yet another item on Lightwards' (or Aldo's) list then... well no unless Funtimes comes by I can't think of anyone to untie him.

Phew.
Got some basic character movement and collision working, I took a look at the spritesheet that the website Kobold linked to generates and it looks like it'd be more useful in a top down rpg than a side scroller like I was thinking of but that's probably a better way to play anyway since it is a G based on an RP :P
Using Voidgaze for now since she's already been made along with some unlicensed floor and wall tiles I had in my tilesets.

I started making it in UDK since they're what I usually use but it's mostly used for 3d games so I switched to Unity which I haven't used in a while.
UDK is a pretty high end engine, it's used quite a lot even in AAA titles(Mass effect, Xcom, Gears of War) and it's free to use and publish games on it, they only charge a 5% royalty so if you're not selling the game then it's totally free.
Unity has a pro version but they also have a free version with less features and I don't think you have to pay royalties or anything for its use.

I think I asked this before but no one answered, is the church Skylar is working in the same that Autumn and Reader usually work in?

I'd assume so. Given her job description, it seems like Vondra would want her positioned close to the information center of the city.

Just asking because it feels kind of wrong to just let her character sit there without anyone to interact with. Autumn and co are bound to appear there sooner or later but that'll take a while. (by the way, am I right in the assumption that Reader is next?) Oh well, now that I think about it I still have that baxter dream sequence to write.
