And I doubt that it has any relevance to anything. But I just noticed the connection between the peasant population on Scadrial being called Skaa, and the name of Dominion being Skai... Could there be a possible connection...? The relationships of those who hold the Shards prior to their ascension could be important and/or interesting on some scale and could possibly add a new level to the motives behind the original Shardholder's plans and actions... But otherwise, just an observation Any thoughts?

You are probably right but if Rashek knew about Skai somehow then maybe he came up with it with Dominion in mind. The Skaa were supposed to be servile/dominated.
