mikedrummer Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I'm on chapter 60 and nearing the end of tWoK. I know Tien died in Amarams army, but did we ever experience it? I don't recall Kaladin ever seeing Tiens death? If so, what chapter?
Morsk he/him Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 You haven't missed anything yet at Chapter 60. In general, Brandon's stories pack huge amounts of new information and surprises into the endings. Chapter 60 may feel like it's "near the end" but there are a ton of things left to happen still.
king of nowhere Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Brandon has been presenting the flashbacks in chronological order, but for tien's death he made an exception. That flashback is important to a future pivotal scene, so it is presented then. I can't say much more without revealing spoilers.
