Alloy of Law takes place about 200 years after The Hero of Ages. (Right?) Does this put it chronologically before or after Warbreaker? BRANDON SANDERSON () The Alloy of Law takes place around 300 years after The Hero of Ages and several hundred years before the events in The Way of Kings. That does put it around the same time as Warbreaker. FOOTNOTE This was recently changed when Brandon realized a timeline conflict. Way of Kings is now in between Hero of Ages and Alloy of Law. Rockbud he/him Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) I don't suppose anyone has, or has a link to a post about, major historical events from different planets to see if any of them intersect? History features heavily in Mistborn, Stormlight Archive and Warbreaker at least, and it would be interesting if any historical events were directly or indirectly linked! natc Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 AFAIK the well simply takes 1024 years to fully fill and require someone to empty it. Desolations are much more irregular in length it seems.
