Given that Nighthound is banned from marmalade I'd have to say he would go with some kind of chocolate spread, Voidgaze obviously blueberry and Lucentia is to far gone to appreciate sweets. I used to live five miles from an orchard community famous for its homemade jam. Every fall we'd go pick apples and pumpkins, and every summer we'd pick berries and cherries. The orchard shops would have bottles of jam of every flavor--cherry, strawberry, blackberry, and every mix you can think of. And then there was the canning we'd do after picking....yeah, I ate a lot of jam back then. What about Ray, Baxter, Shiny and Vapor Snake? (Also, I think Quota is punishing me for comparing him to the nastiest jam I know. )

I would recommend you read a thread of "What happened in" to know how the writing is done, preferably the Salem thread, since its the newest one and the one that allows the most epics to enter, given that it doesn't have a solid storyline, and is just used for batting epics (Maybe even recreating disney movies ) Come up with a creative epic with cool powers (They don't have to be that great, since epics rarely ever get killed here, although we wish some of them would just drop dead *Cough* NightHound *Cough*) May I suggest some epic names? The Dalles would be an especially good place to play as a non-Epic, since it's basically a benevolent military dictatorship run by a small band of Epics under Stephen Vondra, a former National Guard commander. There are a lot of interesting ideas to explore with non-Epic characters, and The Dalles is an interesting place to do it. (Plus we already have a ton of Epics, so playing with a non-Epic would make you downright unique. ) 1

There's a little bit of basic knowledge that people should have before making a Dalles character, but only the broad sweeps are required. You don't have to read every single page. 1

If you want to read the entire thread, you may, but as long as you know the basic background and current events relative to your character, you'll be fine.

Perhaps there is a generator or something that is enough to provide limited power, for the television, or maybe the entire television network relies on an Epic who facilitates it.

I'm open to ideas or suggestions on that front since I don't have any firm headcanon on it but if you're just looking for a canon reason for internal consistency I can try to whip something up quickly.
