It's really useful when people ask what my real name is, because I can say "Hi, im-liam." But there is a backstory. An eighth grade friend while I was a sixth grader wrote comics, and I wanted to be in the books. So she put me in, though I only got one scene. I walked in and said "Remember Mi?" because my character's name was Mi. Later on, I needed to come up with a username for Scratch, the game-making website, and I didn't want to use cool9 again, because I was like 11 or 12 by that time. So, on a whim, I did my name backwards (which has been the source for much humor among friends; I'm "the mailman" to one of my friends) and then a dash followed by that name, Mi. It was only later that I realized that it spelled "I'm Liam" backwards and decided to use it for everything. 4

Oh do I ever I've got the planet that I've discussed at length in the Creation Daily thread, the story that is set on that planet (which is still open for anyone to look at, right here), my planet with Plant magic, my The Final Four series, the premise of that series, the stories and books of that series, my version of the Cosmere, a few short stories, etc. etc. etc. If there was a "please talk about one of them" implied, then which one? I wanted a character that a) wanted to be an Epic in the first place, and joined the Reckoners just to betray them to the Epics later on, as a sort of "offering" to Calamity saying "Hey, I'm loyal to you, give me powers PLEEEEEEEEEASE?!" I also wanted to use some form of time travel, because time travel is cool, and so pulled his powers out of my head and wrote him starting in those two situations. I didn't have a backstory yet, because I wanted to be able to write the character freely and let him develop now, and then I could add in a backstory that matched that development later. And so I just pantsed Timeport's writing for the first little bit and let him grow naturally. His natural growth was not very happy. 1
