lordofsoup
So there are three different sets of glyphs at the title page of each of the books. Mistborn has the Allomatic glyphs. Are the glyphs from Well of Ascension Feruchemistry and the glyphs from Hero of Ages hemelurgy (i cant spell)?
Chaos he/him
It's a little different from that. The Allomantic symbols are shared between Feruchemy and Hemalurgy as well (evidenced in the Ars Arcanum of Hero of Ages). But there's a significance to the different glyphs. Essentially, they go back in time. In MB1, you have the modern glyphs used in the Final Empire, which are hard and concrete. MB2's symbols are from around the time of the Ascension. They're more organic than the ones you saw in MB1. So, they are the predecessor to these later symbols. MB3's symbols are distant predecessors, older than the Ascension, and they are extremely wispy, like mists themselves. I don't know how old those are, but I'm sure those symbols are quite ancient.
