Allomancy she/her Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 If anyone needs a book to read, I'd recommend Eragon or Magyk.
Echo Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Is this to recommend books? In that case, The Skinjacker Trilogy and I am Not a Serial Killer. Both are darker stories, and they have really good wrap-ups, plus I am Not a Serial Killer definitely has some good foreshadowing. Edited May 27, 2015 by Echo
Allomancy she/her Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 Yeah. But, I just found out that there is already a . . . Ermm, topic discussion for that. So. . . Yeah.
Briar King Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Eragon listed as good??? We gotta get you some better books to read!!!
Bort he/him Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Eragon wasn't all bad. It wasn't great either, but it wasn't all bad. If you want something good to read, may I suggest the Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb?
-Deleted- Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I've been doing a thorough re-read of Against the Day and will do so with the rest of Pynchon's novels. Against the Day and Mason & Dixon are both amazing, absolute masterpieces and are probably both examples of what you can do when you have mastered the art of story scope. They are absolutely genius, and there's nothing like these two books out there.
