I think that if Odium were to create a Blade then it would be those ones which are being created by those secret orders. i.e the Ghostbloods. I cant see him wanting to invest any of his power into something if he can get humans to do it of their own free will.

Its probably likely that these are ones which enslave spren or sacrifice them in some ways to create the blade, therefore using Spren which I think are a creation of Honor/Cultivation to give the blades their juice.

With Honorblades and standard Shardblades as the other two, Honorblades being highly invested pieces of equipment whilst normal Shardblades are somehow linked towards the old Nahel bond. It wouldnt surprise me if a fully bonded Human-Spren could somehow draw forth a full suit of plate and a blade via some advanced form of soulcasting. I think that each of them were originally created unique and that when the KT ended their service that those shardplate/blades were then left in limbo because no one was left to soulcast them and their wielders into another form.

Even though Spren dont remember things there has to be some lingering memories of things which they hate. Odiums name, shardblades and such, things which to them are abominations.

Thats assuming that Shardblades are not being twisted by Odium into being some sort of Frostmourne style weapons which steal the essence of the soul as it destroys it, with every soul it kills increasing the blood lust of the wielder. (The Thrill)

Except Sadeas says he experiences the Thrill as well. It seems the Thrill is pretty common among the Alethi nobility.

The admission seemed to surprise Sadeas. “And the Thrill, Dalinar. Do you still feel the Thrill?”

Men didn’t often speak of the Thrill, the joy and lust for battle. It was a private thing.

“Adolin,” Dalinar said. “In combat, do you feel the Thrill?”

Adolin started. He knew immediately what his father meant, but he was shocked to hear the words. This wasn’t often discussed. “I…Well, of course. Who doesn’t?”

He was losing his thirst for battle. That worried him, as the Thrill—the enjoyment and longing for war—was part of what drove the Alethi as a people.
“All who can fight are needed,” the woman said. “And all who have a desire to fight should be compelled to come to Alethela. Fighting, even this fighting against the Ten Deaths, changes a person. We can teach you so that it will not destroy you. Come to us.”
-Starfalls It seems like the Thrill was an issue long before Shardblades ended up in the hands of the Uninitiated. Which I think is the problem, not that Shardblades are of a particular Shard. Edited by Cheese Ninja

I'll like to add that Dalinar felt the Thrill whilst being Heb too.

The old Thrill, the sense of battle, consumed him.

From the Starfalls chapter, too.

As Dalinar can't summon his Shardblade during his visions and being sure he's not wearing his Plate experiencing this vision, I still think, the Thrill is not (directly) linked to Blade and Plate.

I wonder... do we know which of the Shards is actually responsible for life on Roshar? I know it's often speculated that mankind being kicked out of the tranquiline halls is a metaphor for being kicked off another shardworld (or is this confirmed?). What if Odium is partly responsible for the creation of the humans on Roshar (this doesn't preclude them originating elsewhere), just as Ruin was in part responsible for the life on Scadrial? Could the Thrill be a manifestation of a tiny piece of Odium in Rosharians?

Idle speculation, as always. I mainly just throw these thoughts into the aether and see if anything sticks :P

In the chapter Death Wears White:

Ten heartbeats, Szeth thought. Return to me, you creation of Damnation.

Sanderson, Brandon (2010-08-31). The Way of Kings (p. 720). Macmillan. Kindle Edition.

Could be an idle curse, could mean something. Judging on who is thinking it, I'm gonna guess the latter.

EDIT: Oh ya, this is during a fight with another Shardbearer. His blade appears shortly after, following some sweet Lashing moves by Szeth.
