Wenduhhhrrrlyn she/her
Hello! I'm thirteen only here, so please don't hurt me if I didn't see something in Brandon Sanderson's books, k? I've read Steelheart, the Rithmatist, part of Warbreaker and am slowly eating my way through the Way of Kings which I absolutely love. Brandon Sanderson is my all-time favourite author and I just found this site. Also, I saw on the about page that it said fanboys and I was wondering if fangirls are allowed. If they aren't, then I'll just leave. ; - ; Singapore gets such a limited number of good books in our book stores that it's depressing. I borrowed Brandon Sanderson's novels from the library and am absolutely head-over-heels in love with these books. These are the first few books that I've fallen in love with since I was eleven in the YA section and I'm so happy to be here! Anyway. Uh. Bye.
Kasimir he/him
I could say more about Singapore's book limitations but I'm afraid I'd scare away or bore all our friends from the US, Australia, the UK, etc... Hi and welcome to the forums! It's good to meet another Singaporean here--for a while, I thought I'd be the only one from that particular demographic! I'm pretty sure there are quite a number of fangirls on the forums as well, so you're good there Any other books you enjoy besides those written by Brandon Sanderson?

Mistrunner
Of course there's fangirls here. Welcome to the 17th Shard! I shall shamelessly promote the Guild of Arts, if you're in any way musical/artistic/creative. Also, don't take the cookie. The Dark Alley is... actually, not quite the most evil guild here. But it's close.

The Dark Alley is beyond such trivializations of petty morality. As our illustrious founder, Voidus, says, “The Dark Alley is Science." Redbird he/him
Welcome to the 17th Shard! Might I recommend reading Warbreaker in between Way of Kings and Words of Radiance? And the cookies are safe to eat, the FDA* approved them.

At least I admit my guild of Granny Hoid is... well... horrific. And extremely evil. Though, as I've said before, souls are overrated. Wenduhhhrrrlyn she/her
Any other books you enjoy besides those written by Brandon Sanderson? Adults section? The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss more or less. That's my favourite besides all the Brandon Sanderson books tht I've read so far. In the YA section I'm currently obsessing over Darren Shan who writes (in my opinion) fabulous horror stories. If you haven't read them yet, I strongly recommend the books in the Kingkiller Chronicle. Edited May 18, 2015 by wendo chendol

Since Borders closed down and Kinokuniya shifted, I haven't been hitting the bookstores as much as I should, alas. I did enjoy Darren Shan when I was much younger I miss Borders though. It was a great way for me to encounter adult books, back when. And schools would always pay you in gift cards!

I wish Popular would stock up on books that haven't actually become bestsellers YET.

I guess there's never such a thing as too much stationery. I'm pretty sure I burned through half a store's worth of foolscap and pens in my A level year.
