Mckeedee123 he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Can I bring this up? So, Blitz and Terra just died, right? What happens to their cities? Would Vondra want to go in and claim them (or their inhabitants) for the US again? Could this be a potential plot point for Day Two?
Kobold King he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I can't decide. Do we send Deathwish to a place where all the women are really men for the sole purpose of springing it on him later....or keep him far away for the same of our own sanity? "How could this happen to me? And why didn't anyone tell me?" "Everytime you touched one of their boobs they screamed 'I'M ACTUALLY A GUY' at the top of their lungs." "...Well anyone could have missed a subtle hint like that." 3

I found a video that explains consent in a way even Deathwish can understand. If it weren't for some language at the beginning, I'd suggest Vondra have him watch it. 1

Where are their cities, Mailliw? I found a video that explains consent in a way even Deathwish can understand. If it weren't for some language at the beginning, I'd suggest Vondra have him watch it. He could always watch the first part offscreen.
Voidus Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I'll do that now. Thanks, I'll get started on the MoNA attack then. So Kobold there'd be a few pterosaurs of some kind outside the museum? What kind of orders would they have?
mail-mi he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 So, were you all counting on the museum to survive and stay floating after the Corpsemaker attack? Because I just realized that it would be incredibly easy for Timeport to take it down.

What kind of orders would they have? They probably don't have any orders at the moment. They'll just be flying around, ready to fight if they're given orders. So, were you all counting on the museum to survive and stay floating after the Corpsemaker attack? Because I just realized that it would be incredibly easy for Timeport to take it down. I thought it was the MEE attacking right now.
mail-mi he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I thought it was the MEE attacking right now. I mean during the corpsemaker attack.
Voidus Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 How were you planning on Timeport taking out the museum?Yeah it's night time now.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Speaking of The MONA, do you want Toymaker to make some Helicopters so we can have an aerial Battle?
Mckeedee123 he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 That would be an interesting avenue to pursue, actually. Where are their cities, Mailliw? I think he said that they were the three cities surrounding The Dalles? I'd guess Hood River, Washington; Goldendale, Washington; Moro, Oregon.
Blackhoof Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Decapitation, actually. Different Salem. Salem, Massachusetts is the one with the Salem Witch Trials. Salem, Oregon, was named after the one in MA. why would you name yourself after that place? that is a terrible legacy to want to emulate So some thoughts on Salem: I think one of the main prizes on offer is that Soulcaster can give victors their own little piece of Astral realm to rule over, molding it into whatever the victor chooses and filling it with dreaming Vanillas. That being said I think I might include my group of fire Epics among the gladiators. The Fires of Heaven Veritati: Former priest obsessed with finding ‘heretics’, he believes that Epics are the Nephillim of the bible, sons and daughters of fallen angels who lay with human women. While his ability to control fire is almost non-existent he can cause almost any object in his field of view to burst into flames. His wounds passively heal whenever they are engulfed in fire, and if conscious he will instinctively ignite any part of his body that is wounded, causing it to heal. Fallen Phoenix: Teleporter capable of appearing in a burst of flame. He can also create lasting portals between any two fires, the fires will burn cold for the duration of the portaling effect, causing no damage to any objects transported through them. Hellfire: Can produce a black flame from his hands which is impossible to extinguish, the fire will burn until the next dawn or dusk. Hellfire can also use this fire to scry the future somewhat, able to foresee any sources of danger to him until the coming dawn/dusk. Tartaros: Can summon fiery demonic beasts, these beasts are generally inclined to obey his orders but are not bound to do so and possess their own free will. He can to a degree choose the form of the beasts he summons. Antiflame: Produces purple flames with temporal restorative powers, capable of reversing the time of any non-living thing they touch. BurnHeart: Capable of manifesting empathic flames in addition to a more normal variety, these flames can force certain emotional states on his victim as he burns them as well as revealing insight into their minds. Firewall: Can increase the heat within a prescribed plane to extraordinarily high levels, enough to instantly vaporize most materials. Tripmine: Can mentally cause any object he has touched to explode. Jetpack: Can shoot blasts of fire from both hands which provides enough thrust to lift his body. (Fire version of the Spyril) Those are some cool fire Epics. On the downside it almost certainly means there will be quite a bit of mentally scarring scenes if those areas are ever explored. Imagine what it would look like if Deathwish could manifest his desires upon the world. Imagine what would happen if Nighthounds dreams were real... Suddenly I don't want to do WHIS anymore. what if Soulcaster doesn't give any prizes? He says he will, and then he just wipes the victor's memory and sends them home with an evil laugh, because he is a douchebag like that. 2
mail-mi he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 How were you planning on Timeport taking out the museum? Yeah it's night time now. Well, according to my last post I've set a precedent that Timeport makes solid matter disappear when he appears inside of it (unlike gasses or liquids, which he just pushes away from himself when he appears). So he just teleports up to the museum like he did when he looked over all of Portland, then teleports around inside of the mechanisms that make it float, and bye bye floating museum. Thanks
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 why would you name yourself after that place? that is a terrible legacy to want to emulate what if Soulcaster doesn't give any prizes? He says he will, and then he just wipes the victor's memory and sends them home with an evil laugh, because he is a douchebag like that. Maybe because you're a homesick pioneer who grew up in Salem, Massachusetts or Portland, Maine and the pine trees remind you of home? Ooooohhhh, that is a really devious idea.

Thanks It's a pretty big mechanism so that's not exactly going to drop it from the sky in a flash, plus it'd be pretty conspicuous so I don't think he'd be able to do so unless no one was in the museum. Those are some cool fire Epics. what if Soulcaster doesn't give any prizes? He says he will, and then he just wipes the victor's memory and sends them home with an evil laugh, because he is a douchebag like that. Thanks, I do my best. Could do, but if he wanted to be evil there's plenty of better ways to do it. Like just leaving the victor trapped in their own nightmares forever.
Blackhoof Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Could do, but if he wanted to be evil there's plenty of better ways to do it. Like just leaving the victor trapped in their own nightmares forever. that's true, but just sending them home is the laziest way of being evil. He has had his fun, theoretically he has no actual reason to keep his word. Eternal torture would take too much effort and if he wipes memories and such, then he could pluck characters from our other RP's for a day or so and return them none-the-wiser. Or they can keep the memories and just be really pissed off.

That is all true, however, he could just start directly underneath the museum and port up until he's in the mechanism and not in the museum, then port all around inside of it pretty quickly and mess everything up.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 Can't believe I did that. 4
Kobold King he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 That is all true, however, he could just start directly underneath the museum and port up until he's in the mechanism and not in the museum, then port all around inside of it pretty quickly and mess everything up. It's not just one mechanism though, right? I assumed it was a dozen large gravatonic plates all holding it up.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 It's not just one mechanism though, right? I assumed it was a dozen large gravatonic plates all holding it up. Yeah, plus a few non-gravatonic propulsion devices. It's a pretty complex mechanism, and I doubt he'd be able to port upward a few feet at a time without being seen.
Voidus Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 And I just realized MV is back with the Empire tomorrow, if Timeport did succeed all he'd accomplish is giving her a massive amount of momentum to play around with and given her range is only limited to line of sight she could crush half of Portland with the museums weight.
Kobold King he/him Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Yeah, plus a few non-gravatonic propulsion devices. It's a pretty complex mechanism, and I doubt he'd be able to port upward a few feet at a time without being seen. "Hey, what's that shape coming closer and closer to us a few feet at a time?" "It's probably a bird. Just ignore it." "...That's a big bird. Kind of looks like a guy." "Well it's not a guy. It couldn't be. It's probably just a hawk or a crane or something." "...Do cranes wield battle axes? Serious question." 2
