Kobold King he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Um....fear him? *remembers Lightwards and Lucentia* FEAR HIM!!! FEEEEAAAAAARRRE HIIIIIIMMMMMMM! I was thinking the MEE should have sent him to the MoNA. Lightwards and Funtimes would be too occupied trying to file a divorce in the post-Calamity legal system to carry out their plans! It's the perfect avenue of attack. 3

Kobold King he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) As long as he isn't marrying Nighthound to anyone. And why not? Moral Guardian would have a fit if Mary had a baby out of wedlock. Edited May 25, 2015 by Kobold King 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 As long as he isn't marrying Nighthound to anyone. So we're not marrying Nighthound to the specter of Death?
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 And why not? Moral Guardian would have a fit if Mary had a baby out of wedlock. Why marry them if you can simply kill them? So we're not marrying Nighthound to the specter of Death? Do you want to turn the specter of Death into a widow Twi, how cruel of you.

Voidus Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Why marry them if you can simply kill them? If there's one thing I've learned from Game of Thrones it's that the two aren't mutually exclusive. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Darn. It occurs to me that because of Calamity's corruption, Knottier would probably hinder Algaze instead of helping them. 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Darn. It occurs to me that because of Calamity's corruption, Knottier would probably hinder Algaze instead of helping them. Knottier just got the top spot on the ATTD-list.
Voidus Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Darn. It occurs to me that because of Calamity's corruption, Knottier would probably hinder Algaze instead of helping them. Unless he had a partner with whom he'd overcome his weakness, so that the two of them might go around making ships for all time.

I have been considering adding a scene to that impromptu crossover where one of Calamity's Epics hurts Fluttershy, earning Calamity the wrath of Discord. 1
Comatose he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Right, that one. Any ideas what exactly you want to do with him? A bloodsport pitting Epics with different types of powers against each ohter? Sounds awesome! Why is this not a setting yet? An epic fighting ring (likely run by a more powerful epic forcing less powerful ones or paying them to fight) could be a great setting, especially for people who are less interested in plot and mostly just want to write about epic battles. Don't get me wrong, the marital idea is fun too... I guess. 1

That would be pretty cool. It could be called Calamity's Colosseum or something similar, perhaps? Maybe it could be stationed in Eugene or Gresham. 1

But the idea does sound badchull, especially for something more action oriented.

Well I mean if we need to start a new area with lots and lots of Epics to murder I guess it'd be good to have someone who makes lots of Epics. Wonder if there's anyone like that around.

On that note I've wanted to set up a town with my OP Epic Soulcaster in charge and he can remove peoples consciousness from their bodies so he could let Epics fight it out on an astral plain without unnecessary death since I think any Epic dictator wouldn't just kill of Epics for sport.

That's a fairly interesting concept. How do you set up an colloseum on an astral plain? 1
Voidus Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 That's a fairly interesting concept. How do you set up an colloseum on an astral plain? With an astral projecting Epic who is now receiving a slight power alteration?
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 With an astral projecting Epic who is now receiving a slight power alteration? Alright then, if we want to destroy the city as well, will the gladiators eventually rebel?
Voidus Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Alright then, if we want to destroy the city as well, will the gladiators eventually rebel? Sounds like a plan. Or we could just have the Metal come in and crush everything into oblivion while Soulcaster is sleeping. Well, you mean astral like dream plane, right? So it would be somewhat like a lucid dream with Soulcaster in control? More or less. 1
Voidus Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 There could also be a physical collesium for the center of the city. Where rival Epics who wish to challenge Soulcaster for control of the city fight it out, perhaps. (I just want to see a physical collesium because collesiums are cool) That could work too, I like the Vanilla fighting idea too. Although it wouldn't go over well for anyone challenging Soulcaster, he's the Epic I didn't want to put in Astoria because he's too OP 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 There probably should still be some kind of pain-feedback, it isn't proper boodsport until you can see someone suffer. 2

I'm thinking everything would basically work as normal but once their astral consciousness was killed they'd return to their body unharmed, although probably with lingering psychological pain.
