Voidus Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Me asking about the MEE ponies made me wonder, did we ever make a pony for Metronome? Is he also in the submarine? Yeah I made one a few threads ago: 5

Edgedancer he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Yeah I made one a few threads ago: Good, good. I see we have a precedent for good ponies, awaiting more. How else would he swipe most of her oxygen tanks before returning to the surface? In that case I fear she would be more busy trying to kill him than with complaining.

Edgedancer he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) Hurm. What if he was replaced with a live video feed? Then she's probably just turn of the tv and escape out of the submarine, while she's at it. By the was Kobold, do any of these suit your needs for Voidgaze's vile? "I´m rambling again, aren´t I?" “Who of you wants pancakes for breakfast?” “Yeah, a cute kitty does sound nice.” Edited May 23, 2015 by Edgedancer
Voidus Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 He's being helped byCableguy: Can repair any tv within a 100 mile radius. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 "I´m rambling again, aren´t I?" “Who of you wants pancakes for breakfast?” “Yeah, a cute kitty does sound nice.” Those all would work pretty well. I don't suppose that middle one could be shortened to "Who wants pancakes?" ?
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Those all would work pretty well. I don't suppose that middle one could be shortened to "Who wants pancakes?" ? Voidgaze wouldn't mind. To restate the question, I haven't got an answer from Seonid yet if he wants team Paladin to interact with Shiny Sparkle but what about her returning to base anytime soon?
Eclipse she/her Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) Hi, and welcome to the RP! I like this guy, but I confess I'm a little concerned that he may be a bit overpowered. Any one of the powers his Keyboard Shortcuts give him would make for a powerful and game-changing Epic all on its own--all of them together would make him one tier below Calamity himself as far as powerful Epics go. If you limited him to maybe about three of those powers, he'd be awesome and well-suited to the RP. I made a revision: Powers: Ctrl+B: Makes any highlighted thing, except epics, stronger Ctrl+U: Creates a force field under any highlighted thing (If someone is falling I think this would be a pretty useful power, otherwise, it is useless.) Ctrl+I: Makes highlighted thing fancier (I thought I could keep this one in because it is pretty useless.) Ctrl+Z: Reincarnation from last save point Ctrl+S: Saves current state -The last two are his reincarnation, though I think I will say that when Shortcut dies and goes back to his last saved state, he will forget everything that he has learned since saving. Delete: Deletes anything that is selected (I thought I would limit this to what he can see that is inanimate.) -I think that his secondary powers would still be selecting things. I don't know about that. Creating a forcefield under something could elevate it, and depending on the limit, he could elevate entire buildings. Use the delete function for the forcefield, and he drops the building, killing everyone inside and underneath. 1

So what exactly does "stronger" mean? The force-field under object bit is also somewhat vague as to what it could potentially do. Does making a save state come with any kind of activity? To the people that are in the same scene as the Metal. Do any of you want to react or should I just double post for the interview tomorrow deal?

Bioterror would cryptically reply with "A few" but that's not really long enough to justify a post.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 I'm good with skipping to the interview.

I'm good with skipping to the interview. I'll do that then. I wonder, does the Dalles have a special unit that would take this as its theme song? 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Oh and Mailliw, it only just registered with me as well but retreating to Washington over a bridge would be rather over complicated for the Destructors, given that the Megler Bridge no longer stands and that's now where Icesteelkeep is. The next chance to cross the river would be 45-50 miles down the road. Not impossible but it seems like a longer trip than is necessary, especially with a wounded along.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 I'll do that then. I wonder, does the Dalles have a special unit that would take this as its theme song? If it doesn't have one, I think it needs one. Who thinks The Dalles needs a special unit who can take this as their theme song? 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 If it doesn't have one, I think it needs one. Who thinks The Dalles needs a special unit who can take this as their theme song? I do and if it still needs to be created I'll establish Vapor Snake just so he can be the head of that unit.
Voidus Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Whats that? You need a bunch of Epics to fill a new special ops unit? Well if you insist.
TheSilverDragon he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I don't know about that. Eclipse she/her Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 The forceful could be stationary, and if the person walked off of.it, it would disappear. That could work.

I dunno, Kobold hasn't responded yet but I guess how the Dalles work a unit build around a gifter would make a good amount of sense. The forceful could be stationary, and if the person walked off of.it, it would disappear. Baisically a disc underneath then? Edited May 23, 2015 by Edgedancer

Baisically a disc underneath then? I had a plan for that a while ago actually but I think someone used the Epic I had planned for it elsewhere, not sure if it'd really be ok to put a gifter into the Dalles who hasn't been mentioned at all though.
Eclipse she/her Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Baisically a disc underneath then? Yes. So what exactly does "stronger" mean? To the people that are in the same scene as the Metal. Do any of you want to react or should I just double post for the interview tomorrow deal? They get 1.5x stronger. The saved state would not come with any activity, but he has to think about it. When he saves himself, it only save current physical attributes and memory, so he forgets everything he does not save. 1

True, oh why didn't I find that song earlier? (Although, there would be options to work around this like having the squad return from an out of town mission or saying the Epic got put in solidary confinement after having used his powers to much himself and now they are letting him out early because of all the chaos or something like that.) Yes. They get 1.5x stronger. The saved state would not come with any activity, but he has to think about it. When he saves himself, it only save current physical attributes and memory, so he forgets everything he does not save. Still stronger in what way? Is it simply structural strenght and they get harder, could swords cut better or would people be able to lift more? 1
Kobold King he/him Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I dunno, Kobold hasn't responded yet but I guess how the Dalles work a unit build around a gifter would make a good amount of sense. As much as I'm in favor of this kind of insanity, I'm afraid if there existed such a team built around a gifter it would have been mentioned by now. I'm not against introducing such a character, though.
