Magic the Gathering.

Considering the vast amount of MtG Planes, I'd say MtG wins. If they didn't have any form of magic, it'd be a more interesting fight, but they do have magic.

Also the population of certain planes *cough*Ravnica*cough* are so large that the Cosmere would be overrun and wildly outnumbered.

I was thinking along the lines of certain creatures like Emrakul, Progenitus, Oujtai, etc... and/or some planeswalkers for each of their home planes.

I think that Ravnica vs. Scadrial would be a fair(ish) fight. At least until Ravnica gets out the big guns........

*cough* Worldspine Wurm *cough*

Hey, newbie question here!

What exactly is the canon of Magic: The Gathering?

I bought some cards when I was younger; specifically, I bought a starter deck from the Mercadian Masques set, because it came with a novel... but I've never kept up with the game, or it's setting.

But... I'm curious. What exactly is MTG "about" in terms of background?

Magic: The Gathering takes place on various "planes," which are similar to the various worlds of the Cosmere.

I'm actually not very sure about the canon, you'd probably be better off going to the website, which can be found here.

You should get cards from the newer sets, specifically "Dragons of Tarkir," they're awesome.
