StormingTexan he/him
I had Brandon's books on my TBR list for a while and finally this year read one. I started out with Mistborn all the way to AOL (crazy excited about the two new AOL books). I absolutely loved the trilogy and was skeptical about reading AOL thinking I wouldn't like it. I usually hate spin offs especially set in a different time but I was completely wrong and loved it just as much as the original trilogy. Then I moved on to the SA books which I have to say the first one didn't grab me right away but I was so curious about the world of Roshar and some of the characters from WOK I quickly moved on to WOD. Mind=Blown! I felt like the pace was so much better in WOD than WOK or maybe I just became more involved in the story by the second book. I think I am going to re-read WOK I bet I will enjoy it a lot more without the anticipation of "What will happen next". One big thing that bothered me in WOK was all of Shallan parts which were really hard to get through and then turned into some of my favorite parts in WOR. Just like everyone else eagerly awaiting the third book. I am currently reading Elantris which i have to admit I am not enjoying as much so I have been switching back and forth to Warbreaker which I like a lot (kinda wish I read this before WOD with the tie-ins). Needless to say I am a huge fan. I have lurked here for a while and love the cosmere bits Brandon has added into the books. Hoping to learn more. This site is great for answering all the questions I come up with. Thanks to all those that contribute.
StormingTexan he/him
Thanks! I have not but have them on the list. Planning on reading Steelheart although it doesn't sound exactly like something I would like I want to give it a try.

I put off a lot of them for a long time because they didn't sound good. I was wrong. The descriptions made about them don't do them justice. Brandon Sanderson is my favorite author because no matter how strange or uninteresting his books seem at first glance, he makes them incredible. I hope you enjoy your time here!
