mail-mi he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Who was up in the Neverthere/Numnums/Trifecta sequence? Once she's wrapped things up there she's probably going to call in the strike on the Dominion before returning to taunt Electro to the end of his days. I think it's about time for Timeport to resurrect.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 I think it's about time for Timeport to resurrect. Just in time to be trampled by a herd of elephants that is in Portland for the Herd of Elephants who Like to Trample Timeport Convention. 1

I wouldn't dare ship her, even in jest, if she was any younger.) 2
Kobold King he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I'm having quite the internal dialogue right now. 4
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 I'm having quite the internal dialogue right now. Confession: I mostly ponified my siblings so I could put them into wacky Reckoners-type adventures. Does that help? 3

Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 ...Yes? No? Maybe? Is that leather you've put your potential spouse in? What we learn about you today, Kobold. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 ...Yes? No? Maybe? Not bad, but you got our methods slightly off. 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Not bad, but you got our methods slightly off. In case you need a reminder on how Obliteration looks like. And now put him in a princess costume. Although that plan might backfire, if I had to see lycrs!Lightwards, I would want to destroy the world even more. I've also been listening to a couple of villain songs and guess who this one reminded me of. 2
Kobold King he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Not bad, but you got our methods slightly off. Horrifying though the thought may be, I still can't stop laughing at that comic. I've also been listening to a couple of villain songs and guess who this one reminded me of. That one's good, though I still think "When You're Evil" is the best theme song for Nighthound. It even sounds kind of like what I imagine his voice like. 1

If drawings of lycra!Lightwards don't trigger an Epic's weakness, I don't know what will. That song reminded me of Timeport, personally. Nighthound, too, but definitely Timeport. 1

Kobold King he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 If they saw that picture before tunring into an Epic then it will definitely trigger their weakness. If Abbey actually drew it it'd probably become my weakness. "Gluttony Fang." "When You're Evil" is Nighthound to a T. I was about to post why I respectfully felt you were entirely, 100% wrong for thinking "When You're Evil" could fit anyone else but Nighthound, even with Timeport in the universe. Thank you for sparing me the effort. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 "Gluttony Fang." "When You're Evil" is Nighthound to a T. Phew. for a moment I thought that I would have to write a segment about Nighthound's day off, dedecated to him being as evil as he can be to remind you that Timeport needed just such a segment to even rival him.

No, no, I'm….quite all right, thank you. "When You're Evil" is and always has been Nighthound's theme song.

By the way, you haven't answered this question yet. Twi, have you ever read the serial killer books by Dan Wells?

Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 (edited) I haven't, though I know Wells is a friend of Sanderson's, I haven't checked out any of his books yet. What was the serial killer series called? I have heard them refered to mostly as the seriall killer or the John Cleaver trilogy. (Altough a new set of books is about to come out.) The first book is "I Am Not a Serial Killer" (and I think a movie adaptation is currently in productions). The main character is the young John Wayne Cleaver, who is a sociopath convinced that fate has decided for him to become a seriall killer. And if you can get your hands on them read them, just read them. Edited March 28, 2015 by Edgedancer 1

Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I just put a hold on it at my library. That series sounds awesome. it is, it really really is. It helps that Wells has actually done enough research to get a sociopathic character right and John manages to stay sympathetic. And then there are the other killers. Oh, you can't even imagine the evil smile on my face right now. 1
Comatose he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I'll second the the plug for the John Cleaver books. They are fantastic!
