Edgedancer he/him Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Edgedancer, I am assuming that the Metal found Lockvault and the Adventurer by using his sound manipulation, but how did he find them so fast? He did actually not find them by sound. The pressure power he used to knock himself around and push Brightdeath to the ground can also be used to give him something akin to a sixth sense, that allows for effectively perfect spacial awareness in his range, by slightly pushing down on everything. So he recognized them by their shape and the fact that they were holding their rifles. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Wait a second—is one interpretation of the "Party X Party" song that the rookie is the Dark Lord, or just that the Dark Lord looks a bit like the rookie and the rookie decides to dress in royal robes just 'cause? 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Wait a second—is one interpretation of the "Party X Party" song that the rookie is the Dark Lord, or just that the Dark Lord looks a bit like the rookie and the rookie decides to dress in royal robes just 'cause? I'm pretty sure the rookie is the Dark Lord. Little question, would any of thse make a good icon for Nighthound? Also as an extra, the god of Funtimes. 4

Also as an extra, the god of Funtimes. It fits Funtimes even better, then. I like the first and third icons. The second one is cool, too, but I think the first and third are best. Odd how a tasteful ink drawing can make her god look like a Muppet. 1

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 And I just realized exactly what that drawing of the Great Noodly One reminds me of. These guys.

Still working on something for Voidgaze, her not having an icon might actually be an appropriate stylistic choice.

So that's why the Doctor doesn't visit America all that often. He might put his companions in danger more often than not, but bringing them within a hundred miles of Nighthound is just too much. The end of the universe is far, far safer. 1

The entire Who mythos has been turned on its head. So does that make the Doctor a Paladin- or Guardian-like Epic—one somewhat unaware of their own state, but one whose methods of protection actually do more long-term harm than good? 1
