TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 I see your hilariously random comic and raise you... something. You think that's random? 7
Voidus Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Never speak of it again? I wouldn't have taken you for an agent of Lightwards, Voidus. I'm an agent of ensuring as few shower scenes of Lightwards are ever seen 3
Kobold King he/him Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 You think that's random? ...dang. You win the pony comic contest this time, Twi. (Though once CorpseMaker's weakness is revealed and I can post the comic I made about it, there will be a reckoning. ) 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Darn lack of knowledge of everyones weaknesses. I sell Funtimes' weakness for pug pictures. They make me go "d'awwww," I hold up my end of the bargain. (and also the more people I tell, the less tempted I'll be to change it later on. )

Kobold King he/him Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Darn lack of knowledge of everyones weaknesses. How 'bout this? Anyone who can prove they know CorpseMaker's weakness gets an Alan containing the comic. I'm nothing if not generous. Now go pester Joe with proposed weakness trades until he tells it to you. I sell Funtimes' weakness for pug pictures. They make me go "d'awwww," I hold up my end of the bargain. (and also the more people I tell, the less tempted I'll be to change it later on. ) Honestly, if someone directly asked for one of my characters' weaknesses without giving anything in return, I'd probably give it to 'em regardless. No one's allowed to actually use weaknesses without permission, after all.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 .... .....I'll Alan you once I'm done squealing in glee. 1

Edgedancer he/him Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 It always feels so lonely, when stuff happens while I'm asleep. Especially if it's fun stuff about comics and Epic eating dinosaurs. But why? Why should I fear those other Epics, look at what you can do now! You can fly, you basically have super strength and you're invulnerable, look at what Steelheart has done and he only has a few more powers than you Allison. No, not Allison anymore, Impact. I left that stupid name behind me. Not sure if it's on purpose but you're switching between first and second person here.

Not sure if it's on purpose but you're switching between first and second person here. 'Twere indeed deliberate, although reading back again it's not quite what I wanted so it may be edited. Epic eating dinosaurs are the best kind of dinosaur.
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Epic eating dinosaurs are the best kind of dinosaur. Why should there be any other kind of dinosaur? On another note, why does the last Metal post have four upvotes? I know they work at random but it's literally the most basic catch-up/answer post imaginery. 1
Blackhoof Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) I gave Iconoclast a terror-upvote back when he was on the "If you were an Epic" thread, and now I give him another. He's definitely awesome, though. Here are a few questions I have about him: Does he have a limit to the number of ghouls he can control at once? Is there any way for a ghoul to be returned to normal once turned? How much destruction has he wreaked before entering The Dalles? Is it likely that the lorists working for The Dalles City Guard would have heard of him before now? first, thanks haha -Its more of a general power of suggestion over all nearby ghouls, perhaps to a limit of 100 or so. He can exert enough influence to direct them in certain directions, and direct about 12 against certain targets. Otherwise they act like pack animals and wander in groups, killing and eating. -Not usually, no, the effect is permanent. Epics that can heal normal mental illness, however, could heal this with some difficulty, if such epics exist or are inclined. Physical healing doesn't work, as it effects them deeper than the physical. -he has wreaked a path of destruction from Texas, mainly avoiding big cities though, and overthrowing small town epics and their fiefdoms. He keeps a low profile personally, so lorists probably debate his existence, or wonder if stories of people going savage are exaggerated. Some might have heard his name, and surmised that he is the cause of the "plague" of ghouls that have been springing up and overrunning small towns. I don't know your lorists, but i think most will not be sure if he even exists, or if these ghouls really aren't just humans driven to extremes. Iconoclast is definitely interesting, although I'm not sure if the Dalles could handle him and the Panda at the same time since it seems like they both rely on army tactics and also the Dalles is pretty pro-Vanilla so they wouldn't handle having to murder their turned civilians very well, which would be awesome to write because of the whole morality of it and it would make for some awesome scenes but I don't know that the Dalles could handle it very well. Then again the whole point is to destroy Oregon so maybe that's for the best ah, but that is the thing! he doesn't always use army tactics, not at first. He'll just sneak in and start turning people, until there are enough Ghouls to smash the army, government, and all churches and monuments in the Dalles. At first he will dress in ragged human attire, but later he will change his form and act like a ghoul, so he is identical to them (he just gets back up after being shot). Once he has had his fun, he will leave, and let people handle his ghouls how they will haha. He just wants to leave the place in chaos- only then will the strongest survive and the weak be weeded out, to strengthen the species. In his Epic madness he embraced a twisted social Darwinism. He also hates armies in general (too orderly, protects weakness), and will try to bring down the panda army as well. Pandas and animals in general are affected by his turning, but he rarely uses them in most cases. Rabid humans are much scarier. i think there could be done nice drama going on. I see Reader and Glass make their offices in a church? Well guess who loves destroying churches mwa ha ha Edited March 15, 2015 by Blackhoof 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Winterspell would be fine too, but I would rather have them touch down where they were aiming. It's a lot easier than trying to rewrite physics more than the number of times that we will be breaking it in the first place. That leaves us with one question. Mailliw and Mail-mi, are you two fine with Deathgale, Winterspell and whoever else he's bringing joining the battle? 'Cause that could end a bit hairy for them. Also if you want that scene with Autumn adn Reader in the clinic you should hurry up, Mail. While a downside for us as you may have noticed from her dinosaur joyride she's not particularly concerned about the lives of innocents, she'd probably just start bargaining with him to shut up for an hour if he murdered someone she found offensive because they wore jeans in july or something. You know, the more stuff like this I read the more I wonder if she and Nighthound would get along horribly or swimmingly. -Its more of a general power of suggestion over all nearby ghouls, perhaps to a limit of 100 or so. I don't know your lorists, but i think most will not be sure if he even exists, or if these ghouls really aren't just humans driven to extremes. So the power to control the ghouls is actually seperate from creating them? If he actualy attacks towns regularly like that a well organized group of lorists could probably track him down rather easily. The "illness" wouldn't move naturally but pretty much in a line and not affect large groups of people. With that and most small cities being destroyed by the chaos his next target should be fairly easy to predict. ah, but that is the thing! he doesn't always use army tactics, not at first. He just wants to leave the place in chaos- only then will the strongest survive and the weak be weeded out, to strengthen the species. In his Epic madness he embraced a twisted social Darwinism. That opens a complete different problem. Time doesn't move very fast in the RP. As in maybe a couple of days in the months we are doing this now. Meaning that you probably won't see any effects for a long time, if he doesn't go in with numbers. Unless when you say he doesn't use "army tactics" you simply mean he won't organize his numbers, in which case it's really still the same situation. i think there could be done nice drama going on. I see Reader and Glass make their offices in a church? Well guess who loves destroying churches mwa ha ha I'm not sure if he should be able to send his ghouls specifically after churches. With the suggestion being a more small scale power it would probably still be affected by his weakness, which in turn would make churches a block for his orders.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Aw, look at that. Neko likes Backtrack. That's the sweetest thing I've ever-- --wait a second. Wasn't there something on the WMG page about Neko being the reincarnation of Koschei the Deathless? Run, Backtrack! Run while you still can! 4

Wasn't there something on the WMG page about Neko being the reincarnation of Koschei the Deathless? Run, Backtrack! Run while you still can! I told you, cats are the Epics of the animal world. She's just waiting for the interrogation to end so Baxter can inject him with the poison. Then the two of them will go and recruit Frequenzy to conquer the world with all the knowledge they could ever need. 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Now I'm just imagining Remington as a pug bringing down a tiger or perhaps a lion. The tiger/lion just coincidentally happens to be Koschei. Only Remington wouldn't be a pug. I picture him as a German shepherd or a pit bull, maybe a schnauzer at the smallest. Nathan would be a lab or an Irish setter. If anyone is going to be a pug, it would be Funtimes. 1

Don't you see how it all fits together. *gasp* He's actually the time-traveling reincarnation of a defeated Möbius, there in The Dalles in a stable time loop allowing for the paradox of her existing in another location at the same time! She's gong to use Backtrack to find a way, the ONLY way, she and her lover can survive in their original forms, preventing their deaths and allowing for an alternate timeline where they attain world domination and rule arm in arm! Everything makes so much sense now. 4
