urethraru she/her
Hey, I'm Connie, I'm a Londoner and I'm pretty new to Sanderson. I started reading the Mistborn series and finished all of those a few months ago, since then I've read Elantris and both Stormlight books. I can't get enough! I found this forum a few days ago and in my piteously cliche state of graduate unemployment (with a Humanities degree, no less...), have spent the past two or three days straight reading up on the Cosmere, and I'm in love. I'm one of those people who, when I like something, I like the crap out of it and so the more intricate world-building and histories within fiction have always appealed to me. I just like to nerd out Was wondering what people thought would be good for the next Cosmere books I read? I finished Words of Radiance a couple of days ago and I'm still heartbroken, I don't know what to do with myself. Also, I've been checking Brandons site obsessively, does anyone know vaguely how often he updates his progress bars? Stormlights been on 25% prewriting since I first checked a few days ago, and I just can't take it
vineyarddawg
Welcome to the 17th Shard! But beware strangers offering you hemalurgic cookies... I recommend Warbreaker next. If you've already read the Stormlight books, you might recognize a "cameo" in those books from two characters that are in Warbreaker. (I don't want to spoil it for you, though.) I liked The Emperor's Soul as well, and it's set on the same world as Elantris, though on a different continent. If you just like Sanderson's writing style, check out his non-Cosmere works, too. In fact, you could just start with this list and read it all.
Voidus
Welcome to the 17th Shard! Where madness dwells and theories abound.Unfortunately the updates are few and far between, they're just rough estimates really and fast writer though he is Brandon won't finish half a book in a matter of days The Reckoners is a great series, technically it's YA and it's set on an alternate earth not the cosmere but I still like it quite a bit. Alloy of Law if you haven't read it is a follow up to Mistborn set several hundred years later.

Ah yeah, I forgot to mention Alloy of Law, it was not at all what I expected but I really liked it, I think I read about a series in the Mistborn world being set in the future, with space exploration? Can't wait for that Yeah I was hoping to see it go up by a percentage point here and there but what can you do I recommend Warbreaker next. I think it's gonna have to be Warbreaker next for me, thanks for the tip!
Voidus
Current plans for Mistborn are two more books set in the Alloy of Law Era with Wax and Wayne, then a trilogy set more or less in the modern day, then finally a space opera trilogy with FTL travel which is somehow possible with Allomancy but we don't quite know how yet but it is supposed to feature a lot of cosmere info so a lot of people are really excited for that Also a second Elantris book and another Warbreaker and Stormlight is set to be a series of 10 but with a gap of unknown length in the middle. So we have lots of books to look forward to.
