Straff Venture he/him Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) *SPOILERS* Does anyone else have ideas about who 'The Mistress' in the Way of Kings interludes might be? She might be a character developed on later, but seeing as Galladon and Demoux both make appearances in a previous interlude, I thought she might be Vin - the description of their appearances and style seem to match. This does not explain why she is breaking paintings. Thoughts? sorry this is the wrong place now i have to ask how to delete it Please don't double post. As for who it is, I'm under the impression that we've settled on Shalash, since Brandon confirmed that she's in WoK. "The Mistress" is of the habit of destroying depictions of women in art (including, presumably, the statue of Shalash missing in the prologue), which are most likely about her, if she is Shalash. name_here Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Somewhere I theorized that the Mistress is a tineye in Vin's general ethnicity, but she's noted to be tall and the ending of Hero Of Ages precludes her being Vin anyway.

Straff Venture he/him Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 Kurk said she was likely Shalash and Shalash is a herald. I'm not sure it ever mentions her name more than once but one of the ten numbers is 'Shash' and each one corresponds to a herald
